The Chevrolet Chevelle is a mid-sized automobile that was produced by Chevrolet in three generations for the 1964 through 1977 model years. Part of the General Motors (GM) A-body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet's most successful nameplates. Body styles included coupes, sedans, convertibles, and station wagons. The "Super Sport" versions were produced through the 1973 model year and Lagunas from 1973 through to 1976

Zip lock bags and a Sharpie are some the best tools in my shop. It makes life a ton easier, particularly on a long term project.

Totally agree!
I have this to do on my Galaxie. I took my Galaxie apart 2ys ago and bagged and tagged everything with photos . No way you will remember all the details. Nice job on the dash. I like the non-edit videos, more helpful then production based shows that finish a project in 30mins… thanks Lucky
Love the operation table for the dash,,rolling stool included.,,you are a Wiring Master " for sure,, Great stuff, thanks Lucky,,,

Appreciate it!
Your power steering pump is running at too high of a pressure. Most steering box applications run between 1,100-1,300 psi, with heavy demand applications of up to 1,600 psi. Rack-and-pinion steering, on the other hand, is generally happier at a lower operating pressure of 850-950 psi
I put classic instruments gauge cluster in my 66 chevelle as well, The gauges are great.

👊🏻🏁 Very cool
Sorting and labeling is so helpful since I take forever to do things.😂 What's with the Colonel Sanders sign? Is there a cool story behind it? I dare say there might be a resemblance.

I have purchased two MH Electric harnesses and both were spot on. Perfect fit. Factory correct. One was near the end of coronavirus virus. So they informed me it would be 6 months as the were not full staffed and my harness was a custom fit. Through the 6 months. I received updates. And when it was completed. Shipped to my door up here in cold Canada.
Great shop update and 66 dash install video. Wheels McGann looks eager to be a new addition to the crew. Thanks Lucky ✌️

Also good to see the Roadkill guys making use of your shop.
That is definitely the best way to work on a dash 👍
A friend of mine had a ‘66 L 78 SS 396 Chevrolet. He was storing it in a friend’s barn. The barn burned down and the rest is history.
Would love to have your old fuse box and harness for my 66. Available? My 66 leaks around the rusty windshield metal. So every now and then I have to take it off, and clean the contacts with a dremel. Well, until I watched some more and saw the new repro glass style fuse box. Looking into that asap. Probably wont install for a year or so, after I get the sheetmetal fixed... Great info!
Nice ep, Lucky. That Chevhell is a sweet ride.
Thanks for the shop tour

Thank you so much!
Typical GM Saginaw power steering pumps put out too much pressure for power rack and pinion steering gears, you need to incorporate an lower pressure relief valve to bring the pressure down to livable levels. There are two styles. One of them is a replacement for the standard valve threaded into the back of the Saginaw pump (set pressure, made by Tuff Stuff), the other is an external type that you have to plumb into your power steering lines (adjustable pressure, typically made by Heidts). The one that threads into the back of the pump works fine on MOST rack and pinion setups and is a lot less hassle. If you think that you would want to adjust your output pressure a little more, go with the Heidts.
Dude!!! Great video!!! Nice dash work!!! I was listening through my ear buds, I thought it was raining again here in Oregon!!!lol!!!✌️

I don't know if you read comments or not. But I've been watching hot rod garage for years. And to be honest with you. I still watch it, but you're. KZread is a lot more interesting To watch Over hot rod garage. I remember you from Watching overhauling and those shows don't equal watching you on KZread.
