What Your "Window of Tolerance" Says About You

The emotional state of feeling connected, present, and capable is called the Window of Tolerance. However, factors like trauma history, age, race, and more can change how wide or narrow your window is. Wellness Inside Out co-host Dr. Jennifer Mullan, explains the importance of staying inside your window, and the techniques you can use to help!

I appreciate your content, thank you. I desire to increase my window of tolerance but experience CPTSD. How could I proceed, please?

Hey there! Thank you for sharing. Many of the other shorts on our channel (meditation, tapping, and more) discuss ways to also help regulate the nervous system and increase one’s window of tolerance. Many also find support and healing in community. Hope this helps. Take care.
