In my years of practice, I have come up with many ways to save my patients money on prescription drugs, and I'm sharing them with you.
What if I told you if you watch this video, you might save hundreds or even thousands of dollars per year on your prescription drugs. Prescription drug costs are huge expenses for many people, particularly those with multiple medical problems that take multiple meds.
==== WITH INSURANCE
1. Ask for an insurance formulary
2. Consider coverage
3. Compare the copay
===NO INSURANCE---
1.Price compare / Paper Rx
2. Request 90 day prescription
3. Pharmacy cards
4. Shop online
5. Use generic drugs / Alternative
6. Consider large chain stores
7. Ask for samples
8. Coupons
9. Patient Assistance Program
10. Ask your doctor if the medication is necessary
Bonus: Trade Rx for OTC
So there you have it, if you are concerned about high drug bills, at least a few of these should help you. Hopefully you doctor and his staff are open to working with you to get the effective AND affordable treatments that you require.

    Allopathic medicine is excellent for accidents, broken bones, burns, etc. But for disease, they only have scalpels and poisons. I'm 50 and my husband & I take zero meds. They wanted him on statins even though he is in incredible shape. We refused & got him a calcium test that showed he was 0 across the board. The statins would have harmed him in multiple ways and he quite literally didn't need them.

    So many of your tips could be whole videos themselves. A lot of your tips are information points that elderly patients really need to know. But acquiring that information on their own is just too overwhelming. It would be helpful for them to have a short video they could show to their doctor/pharmacist to explain what they want (to do). Just a suggestion. 🙂 Thanks for the video! 😇

    Is it necessary? I've had many clients tell me they feel much better after dropping that pill they said was making them feel bad. And, why would a doctor prescribe three different statin drugs, when all three are contraindicated by another drug he prescribed. I suggested she go see her doc and straighten that out.

    I took myself off Eliquis and put myself on 87 aspirin once a week plus a little beet powder. Can't afford over $ 500 a month but can afford less than $ 3 for aspirin
