For Turkey, I am native Turkish and I’d say it actually all matters about where ypu were born. East Turkey has less population since many people moved to bigger cities bust most of them come from East which makes them more of an Asian. Then again some cities like Edirne are in Europe. But we share the same culture. Because since Ottoman Empire Istanbul and the rest of Europe which we have nowadays have been under Turkish for centuries, Anatolia almost a thousand years. We don’t usually say European or Asian, we think of all our homeland as the same piece. And people rather say their birth city for example if you’re born in Erzincan(a city) you’d say I’m from Erzincan and not European or Asian
