Neighbors ask for and give rides, they don't entrust each other with 80K automobiles and the chance to destroy their lives if something happens. An offer of 20 bucks to cover the gas, to give you ride was the right approach. Seeing your reaction, he sees what we dont.

This happened to me today.😥 I called a locksmith who charged $185 and after few minutes arguments he brought the price down to $100.

Some ass hole wanted to charge me 95, it'd only cost me 40 bucks to by a new rear vent window so I just went with that option.

Don't pay those ridiculous prices! A coat hangar, screwdriver and shoestring is all you need to get back you keys! I have saved people hundreds of dollars by coming to their rescue.

That only works with cars that have the pull up locks not with cars that have a switch that locks the doors.

I am locked out of my car , I can see my keys right there. Luckily that happened right after arriving at work bad luck the office key is also in the car, my manager said she will come and open. Luckily I made a copy for her yesterday.

Have a spare key ON YOUR PERSON! In your wallet, something you have on you at ALL TIMES!

A long time ago this happened with my friend and I when we were leaving work. I was unaware of the situation until my friend told me she had locked her keys in her van, and I was desperate to get food that, after five minutes of waiting, I started getting upset and hangry that I called my dad on my phone and told him about the predicament. Fortunately, the police came over to get the keys out of her van, but it still freaks me out. Then again, I can't drive a car to save my life, so I don't have to worry about that happening with me, but I do live in an apartment and have gone outdoors of my apartment a few times without my keys.

I always have a spare key just to unlock the door it's flat and fits in my wallet just to unlock the door nothing else.

If I would ever lock my key in the car, I would simply take the second key out of my pocket and get back in the car. Most cars have two keys. Use them.

So how does this happen? Do cars have doors that automatically lock themselves, instead of having them lock only when you press a button on your key?

Literally JUST happened to me. I have an ‘04 and luckily I had my windows cracked open and they keys were right on the drivers seat. Got a metal pole with a hook and got them out. I just got extremely lucky!

Just look on youtube if you key are in the car or better look youtube for info if you ever forget a key in your car.😝

I always roll down rhe window if i need to step out but keep to keys inside to keep the air going

i guess no one ever heard of having a spare key or fob, didit all the time for that reason, i could also go get a coffee with the car running because i could lock it and had spare keys to get in again.

Alright so I’m in a messed up situation I locked my keys in my car and left them in the ignition and also my car died on top of that what should I do😭

if you lock your keys in, just call the bomb squad and they will deal with it.

This literally just happened 😭 to me tonight. The police 🚓 did not help me.

Bethel I don't believe that you can unlock your car with battery I just try to do that with my keyhole on my car door it does not work

It happen to me, no tools no nothing to work with yo unlocked my door AT gas station, plus the gas station had no no tools. So I called 911, they said they couldn’t unlock bz of liability…huh! After 2 hours and a jacked up door, finally got it open. Now I leave an extra key under neath the car body. Police aren’t helpful.
