I would be dreaming! I live in NEPA and we don't have elk; we have deer all over the place. That is so cool, and the elk are welcome anytime! 😍

If I were faced with an elk herd like this, especially the native California tule elk, I would want to enjoy the peace with them. I recently heard a family story of my late paternal grandfather, who loved hunting so much, he tried to get a deer kill at his home when a herd came to visit. Of course, my grandmother stopped it, but another memory for his biography. I only visited the Point Reyes tule elk reserve once last spring, (after growing up nearby my whole life), and I was a bit intimidated by how large and imposing elk are. They definitely command some respect, yet they also disappear to fresh pasture when they don’t feel safe any more. Mother nature speaks through her children, including us.

What would i do? I would go get a cup of coffee and enjoy watching at them❤❤❤❤❤

I would take a bunch of pictures and just watch and LOVE the View while it lasted!!!!!!!!

Honestly I'd be very pleased with the company at first. Then I'd think & contemplate the long term issues. Once I'd considered all my options of coexisting with the Wildlife. I'D most likely reassess My initial decision too move there. And if I really couldn't tolerate the obvious cohabitation with the Elk? I'D then put My property up for Sale and pray, and Hope too Sell it at a profit or without a Major loss on My investment. This I'd do because the Elk are going too be the last too alter Their Migration Habit's & willingly move on or away. This is the GD way of Nature and it's unalterable way of natural things. That's it's basic and unchanging Way of Things. TKS.

Those are ranch Elk. Technically not pure wild elk. That would never happen in public land.

No, they are wild elk. They roam free in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park.

I would close the door and let them be they'll move on
