We grow our cucumbers along a fence. The yield is much higher and you can pick them right off of the fence. The bees pollinate them more readily. It's also a space saver as they will take over the entire ground ☺️

Those larger cucumbers are great for making dill spears. It's one of our favorite kinds.

Shred the cucumbers and dehydrate/freeze dry them for tzatziki.

The acorn squash stems will start to dry up & die back as it ripens. The skin will also harden as it cures. If you can pierce through the skin with your thumbnail it’s not ready yet. Let it cure a bit longer. Another indication of a ripe acorn is when it starts to turn orange.

Wow the pumpkins. They are so pretty. One of the girls that I follow. Shreds her cucumbers and freeze dries them. Then uses them for tzatziki. If they're not pig treats😂

Could make relish. Pumpkin is really expensive to buy. It was over two dollars for a small can. If you like pie, can them up.

I think acorn squash is rip when it turns orange or yellow on the part that is laying on the ground

I am growing Table King Bush Acorn squash for the first time. My seed packet says they should be 5 to 6" round. Hope that helps!

Watermelon, Morgan ??? Thats crazy! But of all seasons over the past few years, this surely would have been the one to plant melon 😊 We did two pumpkin plants for our girls, and, without touching them, grew a few good size ones for Halloween 🎃 I'm too amazed at your bounty and talent for playing in the garden, fist bumps to you, Master Greenthumb 😊

How did your blueberries do that you planted this spring? I’ve heard they’re very difficult to grow there.
