How do I represent myself in narrative form in family court

So We had a hearing , I wasn’t the one who filed we had a child lawyer make a recommendation proposal… I disagreed with so many things.. and he only went over schooling and coparent classes… and didn’t make a final order.. the judge recommended we figure out the rest … what’s next ? And said he didn’t think we needed a trail .. previous DV and he didn’t go over the custody part at all ?? I feel bamboozled by what happen and am getting threats from his lawyer for me to follow the proposal right away?

If I don’t want have shared physical custody no more , and just leave the kids for her all the time , how should I do that

Wendy please do a video on what Local parentes is? . My ex who was there for my 7 year old since he was 1 , and we have 2 more together is unfit and has supervised visits with all 3 kiddos . He has continued to be in addiction and in and out of jail for dui.. this has kept him on supervision for a year and half . He gets access to all medical and educational. Because I'm told he is in lou of .. however we have never been married and I do not understand if i can fight this . Help me please understand.. you have guided me the entire way by your videos and thank you so much . Much of my success is due to your videos .

Can you use they're witnesses to benefit you

I'm on my third and last hearing. The last hearing was 5 months ago and was postponed halfway through because we ran out of time. I have had all of my witnesses testify during the first part of my hearing and that is what worries me. The Magistrate doesn't refresh herself with the facts. What can I ask my attorney to do

Actually very informative, surprisingly there isn't much information upon family court online about these little yet major facts, Thank you. I myself am a single father from NYC which unfortunately is rare so I'm trying to get sole custody only cause the mother refused to work out anything and completely said she wanted full custody even though my son has been will me solely the past 6 months

How do we represent myself for child to be removed from foster mother?

Hey im in this situation now how did it go?

I was unable to attend my final hearing and he got everything he was asking for. How do I change that situation? I did ask the judge to put a stay on her motion. Where do I go from here?

I’m filing my ex for full custody for my daughter because she signed a notary to her aunt to take care of her. I have a hearing coming up. And she blocked me on all social media. We don’t have a address for her so I had to go through the news paper. The ad litem will be at my house 1st of February and hearing will be 28th of February. What if the defendant (the mother AKA my ex) doesn’t show up to the hearing? And doesn’t see the newspaper to contact the ad litem and show up. AKA my daughter is only 3. And she never lets me see her

So my husband's going to court for full custody of his son his son has gone through a lot! some pretty crazy stuff and also has told numerous authorities there's police reports made on the bad stuff that's taking place mother was scheduled to take her son into a child interview and she keeps prolonging it so far she's missed two of those appointments now when she was supposed to take him they said she gave reasonable explanation on why she couldn't make it so they keep rescheduling.. so my question is what is a reasonable explanation on why she can't take the boy to get interviewed as well he missed school that day mother didn't want to get up out of bed apparently how do you prove this in court also

I'm confused Wendy, you haven't clarified if your opening statement and evidence is part of a regular hearing, is that just for trial? This video is kinda all over the place.

The law might be on my side, but the judge is not, that judge I am seeing in my case has been flirting with my wife in court and he’s extremely racist and biased. What am I supposed to do? When he won’t allow me to talk and defend myself

My son’s mother who I am in the middle of a divorce with is asking the court to allow her to move 3,000 miles away so that she and our 10 year old son can live with her boyfriend. Mom and boyfriend have never even lived together before. She’s proposing to bring him back for visits with dad during school vacation and a few times a year. We now live 2 hours and 120 miles each way away from each other. During the last 2 years she was supposed to be bringing him to me every other week, according to the interim order that was issued by the Magistrate almost 3 years ago. Our case was pushed aside due to the courts back up due to Covid. She brought him to me 3 times a year on average. I drove to her so that I could see our son the other 49 times a year. Obviously she has no credibility with me as she has been defying court orders and has proven to me she will make zero effort to get him back to visit me. He would be a 7 hour flight and 3 hour time difference away from me. I’m not going to agree to this but can the Judge overrule me and allow her to move with him so she can live with the boyfriend. This situation is crazy. All for her being with the boyfriend.
