Balde is super talented. You don't get experience without playing. So I don't see how that kid doesn't get some minutes. Also, Dest has played on the right and could provide cover. Don't spend good money on a left back we don't need. Also, comments on Dest are right on. This is a make or break season for Dest.

Dest is good, but mostly in the attack with his speed, honestly he is not intimidating enough for a right back. We need intimating defense.

I still don't think getting Kounde is the answer. Christensen, Araujo plays as Right Center back. And guess what: Kounde ALSO RIGHT. Even Chelsea decided that they wont follow Kounde anymore. They are interested in Deligt and Koulibaly. Koulibaly is just turned 31 and play on the left side. For center backs experience is important and age is not that much of an issue. Koulibaly has been consistently great and will be much cheaper than Kounde.

What you say just tells me that you never played football. I don't understand what this nonsense about left or right centerbacks is all about. Every centerback can play in both centerback positions, look at Real Madrid, they play with two left footed CBs every game.

@@libelldrian173 I am not saying they cant play like that. For center backs, your preferred foot is not that crucial, nevertheless for a young Center Back like Kounde who almost solely played on the right side and even played as a right back, it will make a difference. Whatever u say, every center back has a preferred position, right or left. It effects how you dribble and open your body to pass the ball. Generally, left-footed Center Backs play on the left side and vice versa. Alba is left footed and plays on the left, militao right footed, plays on the right.

With Kounde or Koulibaly our Central defense will be sorted... we just need to sign Good players for the wing back position like Borna Sosa, Wan-Bissaka, etc. One's with experience and in their prime
