The Astros played nearly perfect baseball I have never seen a team pitch that well in a series before they throw every pitch with such wicked movement and their bullpen is just so hard to hit they know how to keep you off balance because they locate everything so well so they force you to swing at pitches that look like strikes some of those sliders were just insane I don't know how anyone could hit them when they are on like that I think the Phillies are about to get swept as well

After, the cheating scandal, and manage to make it to the world series two straight years is so impressive. No Correa, Cole and Springer etc. I would like to see Harper get one, but it wouldn't hurt me one bit, if the Astro wins. I always liked Dusty Baker.

I'm not a yankee fan but I did say to my yankee fan friends that the fact that the Yankees needed 5 games to beat the Cleveland Guardians as a bad sign. Also said to a different friend that the Astros were going to run all over the AL unless the Yankees played like they did before they started tanking. The Yankees didn't and the Astros stomped them. But yes there are so many bandwaggoning Yankee fans it's so annoying I hate it.

The problem is no consistent hitters on the team. Yankees fell in love with the home run ball. We need Jeter type of hitters. Judge got 1 hit in the 4 games. The whole roster needs a shake down. Yankees ace, Cole, got out pitched by the Astros third best pitcher. I know everyone likes to blame Boone but he ain’t out there getting struck out.

I can tell you what went wrong. Its the lack of fire and leadership in the clubhouse and the front office. Boone and Cashman needs to go. There needs to drastic change in management and front office in order for this team to succeed moving forward. All the talent and money is being wasted

To me, the biggest mistake that the coaching & management did was to change the lineup too often. It was so obvious because the Yankees made so many mistakes in the field, high school and pony league mistakes--routine dp's & fielding. Carpenter should not have started and Kiner-Filefa should have started among other things.

Completely inexcusable to repeatedly get blown away by the astros. Definitely not our father's yankees.

As a yankee fan, maturing is realizing that as good as the Yanks were this season, this team is not built to win it all. They live and die by the home run, and outside of Cole and Nestor, the pitching staff is horrible. Meanwhile, the Stros got the recipe to win it all: a great pitching staff, contact, and baserunning. Long story short, until they actually fix their issues, I do not see the Yankees winning a chip in the near future.

I feel it's the frequent changes to the order of the lineup. I don't recall the Astros or 2009 Yankees Championship change their lineup this much.
