Somehow I recalled "The Thing in the Cave" by H.P.Lovecraft: a guy lost in a cave encountered "a monster" there who in the end turned out to be just a dying guy who was lost much earlier. Caves and mines are creepy. I went with a team of 7 (some had been there before), into an ancient limestone-mine when I was just 17 y.o., that is, carefree. Fun at first, but then.... creepy. Even being just 150 feet deep on the average. Stable 50 F = 10 C degrees. When we turned off our lamps - pitch black! like blind!

I live 15 minutes from alum creek in wv. There's alot of reasons were a strong gun state & people carry heavy in the woods to this day. There have been a plethora of weird reports coming in in the past few years & alot of people sharing audio of screams/howls coming from the woods at night. The army is also doing small drone testing here recently. A few months back there was an entire convoy including 2 tanks (yes abhrams) that went out a place call sycamore. There's a crazy dude out there no one goes near, they plowed through his property & scared him with their behavior. He followed the treadmarks the next day & they completely dissappeared. His video keeps getting taken down from yt. I personally saw the convoy go out that road. I know the old man because I reload odd calibers for him in exchange for hunting coats during season. This event & reports nearby have stopped me from going back out there & I carry heavy when I do go out. Personally idk this story but if you go talk to miners, they say there's a reason the "old timers" carry even against policy. You should research more of this area & do some of the real folk tales from our area

Another cold frigid snowy weekend hope this story gives me the chills keep up the good work mr. Creep I'm still trying to finish this story for you but its really hard for me and I hope you appreciate me giving it to you and only you. Also up there in West Virginia that's where a lot of my family are from so cool to see representing also my grandpa is a fabricator for the minors
This is surprisingly good. Short and sweet is hard to find for scary interweb stories
This actually gave me chills, great content

gamer guy10371 I can’t really get past the parts where he stretches out the ends of his words if you put on the caption English subs it literally says huh after some of his words because he drags the ending out so much lmao for example in one video he said the name Sarah and on the sub it said Sarah huh because he was stretching her name out like “One time I went to visit my friend named Sarahhhh.” But other then that I can see what you mean I mean I like him to I’m subbed to his channel but sometimes that dragging out words does get kinda annoying at times lol

Im of a good mined to say i really enjoyed this story. Well written. Well narrated.
I live about an hour and a half south of Alum Creek West Virginia. I love these stories. Alot of them are out there though. But still good stories. One night when I was a teenager me and several buddies were out camping in the middle of the woods. We didn't even take tents or anything then we would just ride four-wheelers till we got tired and build a fire and just sleep on the ground. I wouldn't do in now because of snakes but didn't think anything of it then. Beer probably helped cloud are decisions. Anyway we were camping in a little open area along a narrow four-wheeler trail miles from anywhere and one of use happened to look up and here came a man sneaking down the trail. No flashlight or anything. We just happened to look up and see him standing there. It wasn't really scary we just thought it was kinda strange. We yelled for him to get back and he just turned and walked off. We never did see him again or any sign of him when we rode out of there the next morning.

@@JoshAbramD its possible. A monster born of cannibalism. But I feel like the poi t of the story was to be something different. Wendigos are a dime a dozen nowadays and over used. This thing sounded more like a demon beetle. Since when did wendigos have shrimp legs and pincers as well ad beetle armor?
