What we know about Vegas mass shooting suspect Stephen Paddock

Authorities say Paddock, 64, had rifles and handguns in his hotel room on the 32nd floor, where he shot at concertgoers.

We know why *allegedly* He lost his money and was denied additional credit markers... He felt slighted cuz he's lost a lotta money at the casino. That is the official narrative My problem with that is that exact thing happens everyday in Vegas. So if Paddock really did shoot up Vegas cuz they would not extend more credit to gamble with, well we would have seen this happen a lot more than just paddock. There would be copycats. I urge you to look into Saudi Arabia connection to all this. We know for a fact one Saudi Prince was in Vegas that night. Immediately after this the entire Saudi government had a "purge". It's also interesting to note the hotel which was Mandalay Bay was actually 4 seasons b/c 4 seasons rents top floors from Mandalay Bay. Bill gates and Saudi Prince own 4 seasons!

It's usually not some elaborate coverup or inside job...Some people just dont show signs that they're fucked up. Ever been totally surprised by someone committing suicide because you had no idea that they were depressed? They're really good at concealing signs because either A: They're very self conscious and concerned about what others think of them and B: They don't want anyone to prevent the horrible thing thats going to happen.

To be fair, further gun regulation would not stop a multimillionaire from having the ability to acquire fully-automatic guns/modify non-fully-automatic guns. In fact, even a flat ban on guns would maybe not be enough to stop that situation.

@@ForkliftChannel I assume you're either trolling or crazy, hard to tell on the Internet these days which... But he wasn't really a fed anywhere near the time of his shooting... Although interestingly his father was notably on the FBI's most wanted list for robbing a bank... He did work with the IRS in the 70s/80s, but that most likely involves wielding pens rather than guns... He did work as an auditor for a defense contract audit agency, but that was for only a single year in 1985... My assumption is that he probably didn't get his weapons from this either and I doubt very much that he had his attack planned out over 30 years in advance while living a fairly normal life in the meantime... Paddock seems like he just was a regular lunatic like you might be... According to Radar Online he texted a prostitute "telling her he's a government experiment and that they are listening to everything he says and does, and they can hack into his brain and take over." He also was probably stressed out by the gambling problem he had and his lack of success... Anyway, if you believe his narrative of brain hacking and that's what you mean about him being a fed (because his actual history as a fed seems like a small and distant blip in his lifespan) then you're probably not far off from being like him yourself... And if you're just a troll then I'm sorry to say that trolling has kind of lost its spark... There's too many nuts who believe in wild things so there's no skill needed in trying to fool people... It's like playing a video game in god mode as you play it for the first time, kinda so easy it feels boring...

So...this massacre of innocents and many others before and many others in the future is the price of that liberty. Is it worth it? And is this liberty to carry guns serve to protect oneself from another perpetrator who are also armed most probably with a gun of equivalent power but likely a more powerful one? Is that a level playing field that you like to be in? What about a child of 12 - 16 carrying guns. As often, the massacres involve these children's age group. Or maybe the teachers should carry side arms to protect the children instead. And dont forget about mothers too.

I’ve spent years trying to analyze these shootings. I have a degree in psychology and the majority of my research papers were on mass shooters or serial killers. With that said I still can’t understand why these people do what they do. I don’t know that there is a reason. The Batman killer straight up said there was no message there was no point to what he did. He just had to do it. These people are just flat out not human. This dude paid his taxes his electric bill a day before the shooting. He left guns and ammo at his house that he left. Why pay his bills a day before. It isn’t like paying a bill late raises red flags with police or fbi. Why pay his taxes days before they were due when he knew he was going to be doing this ?

Saw it happen with my mother in law, serious mood swings and personality changes. Things do not add up as of now, there is something missing. Did he lose big lately? break up with his lady? Most mass shootings are carried out with handguns. Additionally, automatic firearms are banned, for the most part. Any automatic firearm you own has to be produced before 1986 and you need to have a very exclusive license from the federal government to even have one. That being said, the weapons used in this attack were modified illegally.

I agree with you in theory, but the main problem is that you couldn't get rid of the guns already in circulation here in America. It's been estimated (because we have no idea what the real number is) that between 300 million and 600 million guns are owned by the American public. Too many of those guns are in the hands of people unwilling to part with them, and the government doesn't have the manpower or the inclination to take them by force, because nobody would benefit from that. It's a bit of a stalemate. That being said, we have some shitty, dangerous people here. As long as they have guns, I will too. A lot of Americans think the same.
