What we eat in a day + come shopping with us for house stuff (second hand!)

Spend a day with us in the Netherlands as we go in search of things we need for our home (second-hand), including tools and decor. We also share with you the meals we prepared and had; all vegan, easy and delicious.
Tofu scramble recipe: www.noracooks.com/tofu-scramble/
Dhal recipe:
Red lentils, rinsed until water is clear
Fenugreek seeds (be cautious with amount as can give bitter taste)
Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds or cumin powder
Curry leaves (optional)
Garam masala (optional)
Ground coriander (optional)
Turmeric (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 small onion, finely chopped
2-3 tomatoes, chopped small, or canned chopped tomatoes
Fresh chillies or chilli powder
Coriander and lemon to garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Add oil to a pan and lightly fry fenugreek, mustard and cumin seeds (no more than a couple of minutes). Add curry leaves, rest of spices and chopped onion, and continue frying over a medium heat until toasted and fragrant. Add tomatoes, rinsed lentils and water and bring to a boil. Cover and let boil until lentils are completely softened. Season to taste, garnish with lemon juice and some fresh coriander leaves, and serve with rice or naan.

in a year or two the curry leaf plants will put out daughter saplings which can be transplanted and you could have more plants in your garden or sell to those who need them. Cuury leaves and fresh coriander leaves elevates all indian cooking to another level of aroma.

Thank you for showing us around Holland, more to the point the Holland that you know and love rather than a “tourists Holland” You are both very good and sound relaxed in front of the camera. It’s good for the soul to pick up a bargain when you least expect it! Have a great week, looking forward to your next adventures❤

Yep, I don’t do public bathrooms either😖. I trained myself to hold it for long periods of time, just to avoid them. I heard that those houses leaning forward were built like that on purpose, to make hoisting up goods easier. Dutch staircases are very narrow and steep, so they often bring in furniture and other items through the windows. Oh wow, that was such a cool find! I like that you can take the charms off to decorate your home, or Xmas tree, and then put them back afterwards! Awesome find!!! 🧡

Apenas o celular permite a tradução automática. Para ver seus vídeos na tv pelo KZread é impossível. As tvs não oferecem o recurso da tradução automática. Pensem nisso, por favor. Vocês vão crescer. Suerte!
