I had to play ‘Oreo,’ which is a game where you play Rock Paper Scissors and whoever loses has to ask someone out. I had to ask out the principal. I am a guy. The principal is a guy. A guy in our grade had one of those insulin pumps that goes off if his sugar got bad. One day in our science class, it went off, beeping. The teacher says, "Turn off the phone or pager!" It went off again. We all knew what it was. She got mad, "Alright give me the pager!" No one said anything or moved. "Everyone is getting detention if you don't give me the pager!" "It's my insulin pump." She got so embarrassed and apologized.

Had a professor in college lose it in front of an auditorium full of around 100+ students. A group of students were quite loudly talking to each other while the professor was trying to give his lecture (super rude I can see why he would be frustrated). Professor snaps, starts screaming at the talking students, throws his laptop into a wall, papers all over the place, textbooks onto the floor. Just a full on meltdown. Never saw him again.

Statistically possible. (5th grade): Teacher tried popping me for cheating on a math test cuz I finished too quickly and did not show my work (long division). When he accused me of using a calculator, I dumped my book bag out and screamed at him, "Where the fuck is my calculator." I was suspended for swearing. My mom knew my math skills and I just watched TV/movies all day, so no real punishment.

About 2 weeks after the school year started my PE teacher was telling the class about the dress code and said " girls, shirts cannot be cropped to show skin on your stomach" every boy immediately started whistling and laughing at each other while pulling up their shirts and tying them to show their stomachs . The teacher immediately became very awkward and said " Boys too". That was honestly the best way to argue against school dress code that I have ever seen boys do.

I didn’t do well on a final exam and my teacher pulls me over during class (the exams are submitted electronically) and says that he knows I can do better so he erased the test that I took and let me do it again. Ended up doing much better, must of been nerves (mine not the teachers). Thanks to him I got straight A’s

I know this is an old comment but it reminds me of when I had to take Algebra 2 in highschool. The first time I did, I failed badly. It's like no matter what the teacher did, I just didn't understand how to do the work. She was nice and all but it's like my brain refused to absorb any info. The next year I had to retake it and they put me in a different teacher's class. He was awesome. He made jokes and whipped out his guitar and sang songs about equations and solving different problems. Made straight As and Bs in that class. I guess sometimes it really depends on who teaches you and how they do it. The second teacher made math fun and I fricking hate math lol

I don't know if all schools do this, but my school has an assembly thing where the whole school joins up in a room to listen to the latest important things going on. One time in about first or second grade I FELL ASLEEP in the assembly. I woke up when we had to leave. Still remember it years later.

I remember there was a girl at our school that had some serious anger issues (or at least those were the rumors) One time in the cafeteria she didnt like the food being served and wanted her money back, and when they didnt give her the money, she slammed her tray onto the floor and stormed out. There was this one girl in the group that lived on my street. One day we were outside and she told me she liked my best guy friend,that was in the group, and my best friends boyfriend. It was maybe 3rd or 4th grade, when a boy suddenly puked all over his desk. Our desks were grouped together with other kids to make a larger table. It was not a good morning. Then later that year, another boy was using a red pen when suddenly it broke & red ink was everywhere. We thought it was blood. Then in 6th grade, I met an autistic boy who I'm pretty sure had a crush on me since day 1. Anyway, he would have outbursts in class, the teacher would send the rest of us out of the room. Sometimes we were released outside to play while the 3+ teachers handled the autistic boy. Oh! In high school, there was a guy (dressed only in socks, shoes, backpack, & a diaper) began running around campus during lunch. No idea what happened to him. Later (in my senior year), I was leaving the library & I noticed a strange shadow. Turned around & saw some students on the library roof. Still no idea how they climbed up there.

Similar, I had an issue at the office due to our fund raising for some extra curricular activities (basically I raised a crap-ton of cash and because our adviser failed to schedule a meet, everything got cancelled. We decided to roll it over to next year's group to keep the fund raising in good faith). Any rate, while I was walking back to class, I notice some fire fighters there and it was evident that we were going to have a fire drill. About 5 minutes later the alarms go off. I jump on top of my desk and yell, "Burn baby, burn!!"

When my brother was in 2nd grade, he had this teacher and she literally broke up with her boyfriend IN CLASS.

I didn’t witness it but this was a story my teacher told me. Apparently there was a kid who kept hyperventilating like crazy in every class on the first day of school to try and freak the teachers out (guess he was trying to make himself pass out or something). When he got to my teachers class later in the day he started up hyperventilating again. At this point the other students in the class knew what he was doing and had no reaction so they just stared at him and got back to their work. My teacher goes up to him, thinking he’s actually hyperventilating, and cups her hand over his mouth so he could start breathing normally again. He stops, looks up at her and flips his shit and runs out of the room. My teacher is thoroughly confused as to what just happened and only then did the rest of the class explain to her that he’d been doing this all day. He never came back to her class after that.

Some kid in 6th grade “ate” a piece of jello from the school lunch and while swallowing the jello his friend said a hilarious joke I even started to laugh a little so anyways the kid just went like “Ha- HMMMM- ACK” and the jello flew out of his mouth onto the plate (I don’t think it helped when he didn’t even chew it) and the jello was red so the teachers walking around the room thought he vomited blood so by the end of the day he was sent home while some laughed and others stared at the now vomited red jello

My most awkward story: Sitting behind my crush and male teacher. Passing as male (I’m trans and pass pretty well). Wearing white pants. AND GETTING MY FRICKEN PERIOD I-

Back when I was in high school, one of my classes was cooking. This one time our teacher had to leave town to attend a wedding, and her substitute was this 60-ish looking dude with these big rimmed glasses. Midway through class we were supposed to head into our nearby kitchen so we could cook. The sub hears two girls talking amongst themselves and he instantly stops everything. He then proceeds to give us a stone faced speech about how he served in Vietnam and killed a whole bunch of people, and how he demands respect from his students. I legit thought he was gonna get triggered by something and kill us. Finally once his speech stopped, class was over. I got all my things and got the hell out of there.

My Friend always bounce in class (weird but ok) so once while the teacher was explaining a lesson someone shouted "STOP BOUNCING!" every single person on class was laughing. I still cannot understand why he shouted...

I know it didn’t affect him but it’s like someone constantly clicking their pen or water slowly dripping from a tap, it’s irritating. Stuff like that annoys me because I can’t really concentrate or think when there’s noise, so I don’t know if it would for you. *Sorry for making you read an essay

Jelllow no need to apologize you were only trying to explain, and i get it, but i imagine him bouncing, just movement, instead of making a lot of noise, which you dont do in a classroom anyway, but maybe he was bouncing and making noise with the desk or something

I bounce like that in my chair too sometimes so i have had the same scenario as them lol I understand why teachers don't like it though.

6:58 girl died in my class, the end of the year the teacher was handing out old work and said her name then said "Oh.. (her name)... aww.." then continued. another time, days or maybe a week after we found out she passed (rumored to be suicide), the teacher saw her name (attendance, work, etc) somewhere and called out her name. She repeated a phrase similar to the one above and the entire class was silent for a while. I wanted to cry but I would've been so embarrassed so I calmed myself down. she was so pretty and such a nice and smart girl. glad the teacher let us write notes to the parents.

My weirdass friend rickrolled the damn teacher and got suspended. It was funny until the teacher went sicko mode.

not in a classroom but once way back in 1st or 2nd grade I was held after school to finish up some work. while leaving I saw 1 of the teachers or teaching aids( this was some 30 years ago so I don't recall who the lady actually was just that she wasn't someone I had as a teacher) getting into a physical fight after arguing with 1 of the janitors.

“Hey, don’t have another seizure!” **Has another seizure**

I have a story for this, and it's kinda saddening. It was the middle of the day already. The teacher's phone went off when we were working, so she decided to answer it. She was always on her phone anyways, so it wasn't that big of a deal. So, the student teacher we had watched us while we worked while my teacher went to talk on the phone. Couple of minutes later, you can hear yelling and screaming. My teacher runs into the classroom crying and yelling at everyone in there, and then she just runs out. Nobody knew what had happened. Everyone just kinda stopped working and started looking around like "What just happened..?". Went to my next class period. Turned out, her husband had called her telling her he wanted to get a divorce. He literally called her to get a divorce instead of telling her in person. *He called her.* *To get a divorce.* My teacher was being very rude to all of her students lately, and it was because her and her husband were fighting recently, and he brought up them splitting. I guess the stress got the better of her, so she started taking it out on us. Guess he finally decided on it, so my dude over here decides to call her in the middle of a friggen class to be like "Hey, I wanna get a divorce." Who does that over a phone call?? I don't think she re-married. Even though she wasn't the best teacher, I hope she's okay now.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that has done awkward things. Theres so many and most of them stem from my fear talking to people and saying the wrong thing

I was the awkward situation in class. Had a couple of mental breakdowns in class (including screaming and the whole jist) I was sent to the school psycologist and it was never mentioned to my parents. Happened a couple times later while at that school. To this day I don't know why they didn't tell my parents like wtf?? Their daughter had a mental breakdown and was sent to the school psycolegist. And that was that. I live in Mexico and public schools here are more fucked up than in the USA which is saying something. Btw sorry if there are spelling errors.

Angelina Day I lived in mexico for most of my life until I could improve my border jumping skills (it's a joke), but I can tell you it depends. Where I went in mexico was pretty normal but in the public schools in the us, I saw all kinds of crazy shit. Like this time a student was talking to someone when he suddenly flips his desk and starts CHOKING the other guy till the teacher had to break it up (this was sophomore year), yet he went to school normally the next day and everything. And another time when I was in junior year these dude and his gf started passionately making out and they didn't even try to be discrete so the teacher had to yell at them to stop but they didn't stop for like another 3minutes and it was super awkward but never spoken of again

The story from dinkleberg had me shook I thought the kid was in the class after they said he died

When I was in 5th grade, I had friends in the classroom across from mine, and I walked in to pass a slip to one of the students in that classroom and I witnessed one kid (that I’m pretty sure was slightly mentally challenged) throw a chair at the teacher and punched her in the stomach and quickly stormed off pass me and out of the room. This boy was apparently angry that he had got a referral and had to miss recess so he let all his anger out at the teacher right as I walked in. Disclaimer: when he threw the chair it didn’t hit her, but when he punched her that actually hurt her, she was completely fine afterwards after being punched by a skinny boy.

In middle school during passing period between 6th and 7th I sleepily walked out of the and sat on a bench waiting for the bus. I fell asleep by accident and slept for 2 hours outside with no one catching me. I was so tired i thought it was dismissal.

Where do I begin? There's so many! Ok, I'll give this one: It was my 11th or 12th grade year of HS. We ended up having a school-wide drug bust. For almost the entire school year, unbeknownst to anyone, had undercover cops posing as students. They sat with us in class, befriended us, took tests & did hw & schoolwork with us, even took the SATs. They did everything students do & no one was any the wiser. Until the sting was over. So many kids got busted for either buying, selling, or using. I ended up losing my prom date in that mess. I also heard that one kid even got arrested for trying to sell an undercover a gun out of his home freezer. It was one of the crazy things that I remember from school. I'm 35 now so this was years ago. From what I hear from my cousin who's getting ready to start HS, the school is one of the best schools there is now.

in my class i passed out to a lack of oxygen. i woke up not being able to breathe and kids laughing i walked to my friend and told him i couldnt breathe. i only saw one face of regret. PS. it was bronchitis and i now have chronic bronchitis

In second grade, we were taking the benchmarks for the end of the year, this were the paper test. During test I told the teacher I felt sick, she said after the test I could go to the nurse. I threw up all over my test and the students at my table

I have tics (you'll realize most people do if you pay attention) and most of them aren't very noticable, but one of them is the most annoying thing ever. My head will twitch to the side, but it's an anxious tic so it's not something that just happens every day. Because of this, I guess it just kind of slipped my mind that I should've notified the teachers about it. Well, one day, a couple months into the school year, my anxiety was worse than usual and there was a test in my third hour class that I wasn't prepared for. So, during second hour, I was only thinking about the test and my anxiety was just building and building. My head started twitching and at first it just kind of looked like I was antsy or uncomfortable and was trying to just move a bit. But the thing about this tic in particular is that it gets worse and worse the longer it goes on. So eventually, I'm sitting there, looking like I'm about to snap my neck any second. My teacher notices and she starts freaking out, trying to ask me what's wrong. But I'm just kind of stuck mumbling and grunting because anxiety and tics are fun. My friend is trying to explain what's happening, but the teacher wouldn't listen. They ended up calling my mom and she had to explain to them that I was just having a "moment" and that I would be fine in a couple minutes. The look of terror on everyone's faces was absolutely halarious though XD

Because of my anxiety, I have a bit of a neck tic that happens when I get supremely stressed, along with a bit of an eye twitch. As junior year final exams were coming up, at one point my head just jerked completely mechanically to the side two or three times. I was more weirded out by the rigidity of the motion than anything. .

One time I looked through the sped window. Tables and chairs were flipped and two teachers were pinning a kid down. I think I’m the only one who saw it. That shit was wild

There was a girl that for years would literally just be playing with herself in the middle of class, lunch or wherever just lifting her dress up and having a go

During my ACT test junior year of high school; this kids eyes rolled up and he just collapsed and had a seizure and was escorted to the infirmary. We were expected to continue the test during the whole ordeal.

When I was in middle school (7th grade) there was this one shy weirdish kid who a lot of people made fun of. I sat near him in class but I didn’t really talk to him. One day he was chocking in the middle of class, so I asked if he was okay. He said he was fine and that he was doing it. I was confused at what he meant but disregarded it. I later saw him but his arms around his neck and choke himself. I was shocked but I told him not to do that, that it could harm himself. I don’t remember that well but I think he stopped. I’m in high school right now going into 11th grade but toward the end of my 10th year, most of the sophomores got to do dissecting in biology. Some kid who was really weird (I’m talking like bringing onions to class and eating them) ate a rats brain. A kid recorded the whole thing and put it up on Snapchat. I still have the video.

I went to an alternative all girls school. 2 girls got into an argument. Girl 1 walked into the bathroom, threw up into a cup, and poured it on girl 2’s head. Never saw girl 1 again.
