He refused a last meal. At the time, that was the standard last meal given at the Florida prison when there was no request. From what I have read, he touched none of it.

Yes we don't need people like that in society but if you are about to die before your time for your crime then your last hour should be yours and not for the enjoyment of others, or are we as corrupt as them, a sick perversion towards others suffering is not right, just get it overwith, if the victim or family wants to watch no worries but do you really want to observe and why, it's like slowing down for a carcrash then being upset because you saw what you hoped to see instead of stopping if you could help

Just a random idea for a movie lol.

I remember a Tumblr post years ago, it was an entire list and photos of various executed death row inmates last meals. With brief descriptions of the inmate and the crimes, about 25-30 of them in all dating back to the late 90s, at the end of the post it explained that all the executed men were subsequently proven to be innocent of their crimes .

What's weird about this? It's a classic American breakfast. It's probably one of the most normal meals an inmate has ever asked for.

The reason this doesn’t seem odd is because this is the meal they give you when you deny a specific last meal. If you don’t have any requests and you don’t deny it, the traditional last meal in America is steak and eggs, with hash browns and toast, coffee and juice.

I read that he didn’t request a final meal. So they give him this one because they have to provide a meal by law and this is the same one they give to all death row inmates that don’t have a preference. He didn’t eat it.

I love how everything on his plate was fried. Gotta be some sort of message there.

This is wrong. According to most sources he didn't even eat and he wasn't hungry. They also tranquillised him heavily before his death march. He got the luxury of being numbed up before he died so he wouldn't panic or show fear. His victims didn't get that luxury. He got off way too easy. Looking at his history, we will never know the true number of how many he killed, but he was definitely one of the most prolific serial killers ever in America.
