Cecilia Muñoz is currently the Vice President of Policy and Technology and Director of the National Network at New America. Prior to joining New America in 2017, Cecilia served on President Obama’s senior staff, first as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for three years, followed by five years as Director of the Domestic Policy Council (DPC). Prior to her work in government, she served for 20 years at the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the nation’s largest Hispanic policy and advocacy organization, where she was Senior Vice President for the Office of Research, Advocacy and Legislation.
