He beat and stabbed an elderly couple to death and ate the face off of one, it took half a dozen cops to tear him off her. He was actually found not guilty by reason of insanity and committed to a mental institution. His family actually tried to have him involuntarily committed before the murder, but they acted too late. As a Mexican, the Texas accent joke was hilarious! Texas used to be part of New Spain, and gained it's independence and was absorbed by the USA through a pretty violent war. I believe Texas wanted to remain independent but the USA would have none of that. Lots of Spanish/Mexican heritage remained in Texas due to population and culture, the times I've been there for visit and tourism I had pretty good times.Tex-Mex food is also pretty delicious.

Which is a lot like how parts of Ukraine voted to...not be part of Ukraine anymore...and wanted to be Russian... So... Yeah pretty much the whole Ukraine thing is the Asian version of Texas joining the United States, and Ukraine is Mexico. So... As a Floridian, I must make some corrections this video got wrong. 1. He was not on bath salts. He was an unmedicated schizoid, who was allowed to roam around despite warnings from everyone that knew him. In my opinion, bath salts would have been preferable than what his mind was cooking up. 2. They were not 10 ft. They were 9 and a quarter, and they were drunker than the whole Baptist church during communion. 3. They did not get back into a saucer. It was an extended bed Chevy pickup, of which is the place they were getting sauced. Edit 1: Thanks for the thumbs up you guys. Edit 2: For those who disagree with me on the bath salts thing. His name was Rudy Eugene. Based on his autopsy report, there was no reported mixture of drugs other than THC in his system at the time of his death.

Only 3/8 of the state is desert, not 1/2 Tho 80% of it is hot as hell But yes, having been all over Texas all my life, west Texas, east Texas, south Texas, boarder, central, Houston, Dallas and Amarillo all have different accents that are quite distinct Everyone of those those areas have significantly different influences, that’s why Central Texas has a lot of german influence, east Texas has a lot of French and Cajun influence, south Texas has a lot of Irish and Vietnamese influence Such and so on and so forth

She wouldn't unless they married. So the waiting period for the Alamo to surrender was for his wedding. The Alamo was not filled with patriots but racists there to unalive "mexicans " after the wedding and Santa Anna getting with his new bride. He took out the Alamo, all the good ol boys fled. And then he moved on.

Fun fact (I'm a Texan and we learn about our history): Texas lost EVERY battle of it's revolutionary war, accept San Jaucinto. Many of these losses weren't just defeats either. Goliad and the Alamo were famous and notorious massacres where the Mexicans executed or simply gunned down defeated/surrendered soldiers. This is the same tactic that Santa Anna used to put down mexican rebellions to great effect. The green flag rebels folded after the heavy handed response. But we are Texans. Goliad and the Alamo did not force us down. They became our battle cries. At San Juacinto, where a rag tag force of Texans and mexican rebels routed the Mexican army, that was the cry, "Remember Goload. Remember the Alamo." So are your defeats reasons to surrender like a Green Flag? Or are your defeats your battle cry, like a Texan?

You nailed it with Texas! The traffic, the construction, and yes, I'm just far enough south where I tend to hear either or the other accent. LOL I think there was a case of someone under the influence of bath salts somewhere here too around when it happened in Florida, think it was in Waco

(David Attenborough voice) Ahh, and here we have the unofficial bird of Texas, the Construction Crane. A semi-migratory bird who lives in most major cities, but generally winters in Houston until warmer weather returns. They build gloriously large and complex nests, but it can be difficult to enjoy their beauty when stuck in traffic behind them. There used to be a whole colony living around the High Five exchange, but that group seems to have finally moved on, or at least dispersed along 635.
