I have a gut disorder, I can't eat almost any of these veggies and greens without getting sick but interestingly, iceberg lettuce is a no for my tummy but ROMAINE is OK and I really relate to bunnies and their sensitive digestive systems, they make me feel like I'm not alone with my tummy troubles.

House Rabbit Society has a safe veggie list. Also not all rabbits can eat all veggies on the list. For our 6 rabbits we have to stick to specific vegetables because specific ones like spinach or kale cause too much gas. I only feed veggies 3X a week because of past issues with stasis in a couple of the rabbits. My vet agrees with the diet we feed our rabbits. Our oldest is 10 years old and our youngest is 7 years old. :)

I just wanted to say thank you for this video. When I got my bun, Holly, she was obsessed with broccoli. Like OBSESSED. She wouldn't leave the fridge and if you opened it she was jumping inside.😳 I dont know if her breeder gave her a lot and it became a comfort food. But since introducing, dill, she has stopped the broccoli obsession.

This video helped me so much in slowly introducing "my" bunny to veggies. Before when we gave him veggies he would have diaherria. So I totally switched up which veggies to give. And slowly introduced them and he has been no problems and is loving it!

I feed my bun veggies every other day as one of them has a sensitive stomach and can’t tolerate them every day and instead of them I give different types of hay with some herbs with they love they get pellets in the morning

Hello! I have a question that’s pretty important. Kinda. I’m getting a dwarf bunny and am confused on food, would it be okay if I do what you do which is feeding my bunny veggies in the morning but have hay in the food bowl for the day?

Just asking, so what if I just fed baby spring mix, or just normal spring mix ? And maybe add an herd every other day

I’m trying to transition my roughly 8 month old bunny into adult food. It’s been kind of rocky. At first she was doing fine, but I think I was going a bit too fast and she was lacking alfalfa hay. Does anybody have any tips with transitioning rabbits? I’ve been mixing both hays together and making sure there’s more alfalfa since she is still a baby. But I think I still wasn’t putting in enough because her droppings started to look different. She’s getting back to normal now that I’ve noticed it. Also, what age do you recommend rabbits to be FULLY transitioned from baby to adult food? Thanks!
