If I was that girl, I'd return the favor and constantly mock the older bro who clearly amounted to nothing, and is probably responsible for turning the younger bro onto the hard drugs, thus his untimely (yet not sad) death as well.

To be fair it was be a leap of logic to think someone who is being disrespectful is capable of doing what he did solely from him being disrespectful. Though if he wasn't on a fast track to be a supervisor he likely would never have gotten to a position of authority as it is obvious he didn't like the job and would never have been a worker given that position.

Trauma. A favorite tactic of predators is to minimize the victims suffering (ex. "oh come on, it only lasted a few minutes"), shame them into silence (ex. "You wouldn't want mommy to know or we might get divorced"), then normalize the behavior (ex. "this is just how fathers interact with their daughters"). After years of this, a person is basically taught that, no matter how wrong it feels, it is themselves who are incorrect for feeling the way they do, making them incapable of recognizing or reporting abuse. Mix this with dismissal from figures of authority (ex. Pastor: *incredulous* you're father is a good man, lying is a sin you know") which cause learned helplessness, an rather unfortunate quirk of human psychology, and you have situations like that presented. Think of it this way, to us that's very obviously predatory behavior, but to the victim, this might come across as normal just because of how long they've endured it or even if it doesn't, that fear has been so ingrained into them that they're basically put into a state of decision paralysis. It's not because they're stupid or lazy, but rather human psychology failing to adjust to trauma.

I didn't like a guy in college. My friends kept asking why, most classmates think I'm just jealous cuz he was cool. Or that the girls are fainting or squealing when he pass by, that kind of popular. Nope. It was his smell. On the first day i met him, he smelled like blood and fireworks. Not just any blood, human blood. They roll their eyes when i say that. I'm sensitive to that smell because my mom is a nurse in the he only clinic in our area for miles around. That place was my nursery. Spent so much time there, i knew how to use a microscope, and how to smear blood before i even learned to count to 100. Guy was arrested on the final semester that year. He apparently shot someone dead after a road rage, dragged the body to an agricultural drainage. Dumped it there. It clogged the pumps. And the idiot threw his gun with the body in there. The guj was traced to him, since licensing in our country is really strict. This was the same day i first met him. Unfortunately, then my friends kinda thinks I'm a freak... 😐

I have been on the other side. I had two girls who thought I was faking being bubbly and happy all the time. (No I had just started dating my best friend and was just insanely happy that even the bad stuff didn’t seem bad) so the went out of there way to spread rumors about me throughout the ER and OR. Quite a bit of people called me fake….so I only smiled and expressed my true happiness to the patients. Turns out the two girls were overheard plotting their plan in the employee break room as well as were recorded for stealing morphine. They got fired and people stopped calling me fake…..asking then why I was always happy. I explained why and was finally congratulated but I just flipped them off cause I was over them. They wanted me to be a depressing stoic ass so I was a depressing stoic ass until I transferred to triage.

This is a superpower of mine and sometimes I hate it. My gut feelings about people just looking at them have been accurate as hell and to be honest, it sometimes takes the fun out of meeting new people. This is a good story I have of this though. When I was 13, my friends and I met up at a local fair that always appeared on Labor Day weekend and obviously, we had our parents hanging about mainly to be our ride home. Well, a boy in our group brought us near the beer garden (outdoor bar) to grab some extra cash for tickets from his father. As soon as I met the man, there was something screaming at me that he was not at all a good person as he acted around us. We got more money and headed out. End of story, right? Nope, turns out my mom saw us and met us near him and she began talking to him. They got to know each other as we played among the fairground rides. Talk turned to "love" in a month as this jackass sweet talked her into a relationship, both of them single parents. Meanwhile, I'm panicking and I kept warning her not to let him in but she brushed it off as 13-year-old doesn't understand love. Turns out I was very right in the end. For seven years, this jackass was in our lives. He was decent the first year but then his true colors came out and my mom was afraid of being alone so she brushed off the verbal abuse and he tried to make me feel like I was in the wrong. Problem about that was I'm not susceptible to manipulation and emotional play. I'm pretty strong-minded and have very high self-esteem built up by myself. Long story to come to a close, he slipped many times until my mom snapped and kicked him out...seven years too late but it was better than never. He let my dog suffer while he was out fishing and I had to tend to her alone because he refused to pack it up and help me, he belittled my mom and played her insecurities against her to make her loyal to him, and even his own son who came to live with us when he moved in hated his guts knowing he was a terrible person. Seven years of this crap because she wouldn't listen to me, mm mm, nobody believes a 13-year-old who has a history of good judge of character moments. Whenever my mom and I debate over judge of character now, if she tries to win the argument in an absurd manner, I just play the "I was right about Jackass" card and that makes her rethink her stance on a person a lot of times and gives me the overall judgement. As always, I end up being right.

Also, he had adopted a boy(he was a teen when he came to my church. He acted out a lot and hated him). I hope that he didn't do anything to him. Now how I knew that he was bad was just a feeling that I had. I just didn't like him. I would try to avoid him if at all possible. Another person was my uncle. He was married to my aunt. He ended up leaving her because he was cheating with his brother's wife. He was always mean to me. One time I was playing with my cousin at her house and it was around lunch time I think. I hadn't eaten anything. I went to the kitchen and got a couple pretzels. He said "don't you think you eat too much. Don't you think you've had enough." I was fucking 5 or 6 years old. Why does my weight concern you sir. We also suspect that the reason that he had started cheating on my aunt was because she had gained some weight. He was always harping on her about it. He was skinny either tho. He had a gut too. I hate that man

Back in the '80s, I worked for the State Dept of Disabled Adults/Elder Abuse. I transcribed the abuse reports that came in and assigned workers to the cases. About a year after I was hired, a man transferred to our unit from another dept, he was about 10 years older than me. I don't have any idea why, but being in the same room with that man was like nails on a chalkboard to me. I could not stand to be in his presence more than a few minutes without becoming agitated. My supervisor privately repremanded me verbally for avoiding him and I told her sorry but I just can't help it. Long story short, some months after I left the dept, I got word from a former co-worker that it had been discovered he was using his lunch hour to go home and sexually abuse his (and his wife's) adopted daughter. She was 10 years old. And born blind.

Its like this one guy I met in middle school, he was loved by just about everyone, even dated the hot girl(may she rest in peace, death involved booze, a car, and prom), in his little friend group. He was liked by everyone except two people, me and my friend, two autistic outcasts who preferred to talk pipedream video game stories we'd never make. We didn't speak to other classmates unless a group assignment was involved. So this guy, calling him nick, had this thing where he'd come up to us and verbally belittle, mock, and bully us. My friend once told me he thought nick wanted to rape him. I thought that was an exaggeration due to how often nick's barrage of insults were like a Kyle vs. Cartman back and forth would be, only more vulgar. I didn't believe my friend, I thought the guy was scum, but what normal teen bully would actually rape their victim. Its a tad extreme for 2006, even in the south. Well my little brother would date nick's little sister years later, and said sister confessed to my brother that Nick had repeatedly molested her while they were growing up. My autistic friend sure had him pegged, after I learned that, I honestly think if he ever saw us off campus, he might actually try to rape us. Anyway, this Nick died after graduation at age 25, I wish he were around so i could tell him "No girl's gonna want to fuck a corpse like you, gnat dick bastard" Give him a taste of his own abuse, too bad there isnt a Hell, because he'd have fit right in down there

My dad was a sociopath that had absolutely no impulse control, tried to kill me a couple times but the local athourities in Nub City county swept it under the rug. I would constantly have dreams about him killing me and burning down my house. He lived elsewhere on the property and one of these dreams woke me up to find him standing over me as I slept. I spooked him and he quickly walked off but I could see in his eyes he was going to kill me. After the 4th legitimate attempt cops got involved and while he was away I left. The day he got out of jail he burned my house down. I contacted the authorities after it happened and nothing was done. I hope everyone involved burns in hell.

We understand words, not nonverbal cues. We also can not read emotions, nor react to our own emotions because we keep our emotions heavily repressed. There is no, "gut," feeling for us. There was a teacher at my school (ironically, he taught religion) who always seemed really off to me. He had dark eyes and bad posture and would spend a freakish amount of time staring at girls. I told people what I thought, but all the classmates shut me down. He brought in treats whenever the boys had a baseball match. Eventually, I found out from a friend at another school that he used to work at a school for mentally abused kids, and that he had been abusing them even more while he was there. He got fired from his position. He then went to my school, where he was a yard duty, then an extracurricular teacher, then seventh grade teacher, then principal. This seems really sketchy to me. Eventually I left that school, so it was okay, but two of my friends stayed there.

My dad never really liked my therapist, which I always thought was odd. He basically always felt like she had a stick up her ass and was "too professional" if that makes sense, like someone who can't even take a joke on the job. I took it with a grain of salt, but I thought it odd that he disliked her but like my psychiatrist, so I knew it wasn't just him not wanting me to get help. At some point, she wanted me to admit myself into the hospital (I was unintentionally scratching myself till I bled due to stress. I always stopped when I saw myself doing it) My dad asked me if I wanted to go, and I said I did, but to wait till the weekend because I was already having trouble in school and didn't want to miss more possibly, plus, the weekend just seemed easier for us both. (It was the middle of the week and I was in high school, which is why he gave me more of a say on that matter.) He agreed and even told my therapist, which she replied that if he didn't bring me she would call child services for child neglect. Note; we WERE going to go, and it was *_I_* wgi had made the decision to wait, and didn't think my scratching was a big deal. Since he had no other option, he brought me in - late, since this talk happened while he was at work. After like 3 fucking hours, even the hospital had said she had overreacted and I didn't need to be admitted, just get me a stress ball or something to occupy my hands. He had the paperwork and everything that showed he took me. You know what she did when he told her that? *Call child services.* Since she didn't like the answer, she fucking called child services anyway and we had to deal with that whole mess, both at home and while I was at school. Luckily, the lady who took our case was very nice and quickly realized it was a BS case (especially since it wouldn't be able to go far anyway, since I was close to turning 18), but still. As much as I liked her and appreciated her concern, that was a shitty thing to do, and I didn't trust her much after that. I do miss her, as I haven't been able to really connect with another therapist since I knew her for so long, but at the same time, ever since then, I haven't been able to shake that memory off.

Their father was an alcoholic, liked to party and was usually jovial but sometimes rude. He made a friend, his name was Barry...right away this man seemed off to me, he was down in his luck and originally was just a drinking buddy with the dad. He creeped me out. The dad decided to let this guy with a drinking problem move in to help him in his time of need. I remember being shocked and surprised that the mother at the very least, allowed this. Right away I told my bf my feelings about him, I ended up moving out....next thing I hear that the two girls had been molested by this goof, and they had to go on trial and thankfully he was charged. At least the parents did the right thing in that regard, but the "I told you so" moment was a bittersweet one. Those girls were put through something awful because their parents were stupid as far as I'm concerned.

For context, I live in a fairly small town, with only two major high schools(along with one smaller high school for ‘delinquents’, aka, you do something bad and they threaten to send you there). Ironically, the middle school I went to was smack dab in the middle, meaning it was a 50/50 split for what school students went to. Two of my friends went to one school, one stayed in our middle school(she was a year below), and us remaining three went to the other. The school we went to was advertised as the ‘better’ school, as it had been around longer then the other school. Had higher grade averages(which isn’t much as my whole state’s grade average is shit). Anyway, I went there, and I’m a social butterfly, so meeting people who don’t look socially threatening and befriending them is a breeze. I meet this guy, who at first was super chill, and as a very affectionate person, was open to receiving my affection early on. One of my friends and I live fairly close together, so sometimes her mom would drop us off at home. During freshmen year I was terrified of taking the school bus, but her school bus and my bus where different. So instead we’d take the city bus together, as there is a bus stop right in-front of the high school. As we wait, this guy followed us to the bus stop asking if he could go home and hang out for a while after school. Which set me unease, something inside me didn’t really want him knowing my address (I wasn’t really worried in terms of him possibly stalking me or shit. As I’m a fairly femme person, and he was gay, not to mention a stick that I could easily snap in two.). Regardless of my unease, we let him tag along, and my friend came to my house with. We hung out, however not long after our hang out began, I noticed my cat was not with us. I frantically searched my house and he just.... sat there. I was visibly upset, and was on the verge of tears as I used treats and food to lure him out of possible hiding places in my house. And my friend attempted to calm me, while this guy just kept talking about himself. Finally he and my friend went home, and a few odd some hours later my cat returned(as it seems my mother accidentally let him out during her lunch break.). After that he left a bad taste in my mouth, and soon his true colors began showing. I was glad when he moved away midway through sophomore year, jokes on him, I stole his best friend.

They are not out. So they told us that when they told us that they lied to see what she would do. She tells everyone everything. We never tell anyone jack shit. So we told everyone what happened. She moved 1 week later.

Several. The first i don't actually remember having the gut feeling, but mom told me what I'd said and it matches how my spidey sense works. It was my 3rd grade teacher, a man. He favored the girls, let us get away with stuff. Well, one of my classmates had been molested by somebody in her family, and our teacher's favoring of us girls was freaking her out. Her parents withdrew her, and school admin forbade the teacher from contacting her. He stupidly sent her a letter of apology, so he was fired. Still attended that church for some reason. So he's a pedophile, but I'm pretty sure he never took it to its usual conclusion. The second and third were the respective now-ex husbands of two of my cousins. One ended up being emotionally abusive and also went to prison for CP. The other is in prison for being a hitman (it was a police sting). He claimed he was gonna just take the money and not complete the hit. He had a tendency for using his intelligence for stupid get rich quick schemes. The most recent one is the mom of an ex. She was the first one that I didn't like AT ALL from the get-go, usually I like the person but feel uncomfortable around them. She's a narcissist, and emotionally, mentally, and financially abusive to her son. Also, this ex's previous girlfriend lived with them for some time, and was physically and sexually abusive to him. The mom and dad begged their son to break up with her but didn't kick her out themselves. But when I simply got him to realize that maybe he won't be able to care for his severely disabled brother when his parents die, they go nuclear on me...so she's capable of cutting him off from a girlfriend if she feels the need to. She didn't feel the need to do so when the girl was hitting and raping her son, but she did feel the need when the girl (me) was starting to convince him to think for himself. Therefore, I hold her partially responsible for the trauma my ex went through at the hands of his previous girlfriend. His mom is an evil person.

I didn’t like them at ALL, so I warned all of my friends about him and he invited one of his friends to hang out with us. The girl complained of very pervish actions towards her so I told her to just block or ignore him. He then cussed me out and had a giant argument with me and my friends then sent very bad thinks to his friend and me from alt accounts. Bullet avoided with them.

Girl from my school, I'll call her Ivy in this bc... She was as annoying as it's itch XD. Anyways, I met her a long while back on the bus and something just didn't rub me right about Ivy. I didn't really have to worry about it too much though since I never had to interact with her much on a daily basis. I had to leave school for a year due to complications (not COVID this was a long while before that) when I came back she had befriended my main friend group. We went on a bike ride once and we passed an old school and she was claiming she could see and speak to spirits, then she started becoming a pathological liar and theif. And me, Ivy and another friend did volunteer to be crossing guards for the middle school. All of our things such as vests and stuff where stored in the school store and she began to steal stuff from there whenever she thought nobody was looking. Small things kept building up and she kept throwing different members of the friend group under the bus and spilling any secrets people would give her such as mental issues, family drama you name it. She kept asking me personal questions to do the same and so I would never give her the light of day. Well the next year comes and I'm totally over Ivy's drama well she trys breaking me and my boyfriend up and fails. After that doesn't work she accuses him and two other boys of sexual assault. It's only then that the rest of the friend group saw how fucked up she was and decided to cut her out. I really simplified it so I wouldn't need to type as much but that's the main stuff

I have a story. When I was younger, still living with my mother, she had this boyfriend who had a son(15) and a daughter(5). I always got a bad vibe from the boyfriend, he acted nice around everyone so everyone else loved him. I hated him, but acted nice anyway, since it's hard for me to not be nice to someone. This "man" treated his daughter like she was the world, and blamed me whenever she did something wrong. His daughter was an absolute spoiled brat, and his son was like an angel. His son, sadly, got yelled at multiple times throughout the day. After a while, I started getting yelled at, too. This man treated everybody like shit, then said, "I'm allowed to because I went to war." No matter how nice I was to him, he yelled at me and his son everyday unless we weren't at the house. Both his son and I hated him. I later found out when I moved out that the so-called "man" basically whipped his son, giving him scars on his back. The funny part? My mother knew about all of this going on and didn't do anything.

I wasn't the only one to dislike him, but this guy David had all the management at my college job convinced that he was fantastic. David knew how to schmooze, and he was very entitled. He convinced management to give him my position even though he objectively sucked at it. Several of my coworkers could have taken the position from me, but not him. He no-called, no-showed multiple days in a row, which is a major sin in low level jobs, and management forgave him for it because he was just so "charming." He was given resident assistant position in his dorm, and had several accusations against him brushed off. I worked with him, and was friends with his roommate. We hated this guy. Many of my coworkers hated him. Nothing would stick to him because he was so friendly to faculty and staff. Until security figured out his car wasn't his, and then he went to jail for car theft. Management was horrified, how could someone so nice be a criminal? Because he was a con artist.

Honestly, the lifeguard story is kinda common. This is from the view of a water park guest. I,18 at the time, was in the wave pool with a few friends. We were goofing off in the deep end because we could each basically stand up in the water. Anyway, after about 15 minutes I saw some kids (had to be 10-12) who very much could not stand in the pool, and they were on a float. Once the waves were made higher and faster (as usual) the kids’ buoy flipped over and the kid inside had her head stuck underwater. The other one wasn’t helping by grabbing at her and the buoy. I looked over at the lifeguard, who was LESS THAN 2 METERS AWAY and she was staring at her phone while the kid who was above water started screaming for help, that he couldn’t help his friend. In the end, me and a couple friends saved them by flipping the buoy and getting the girl out of it. We went with the kids to their parents and informed them of what happened and the situation with the lifeguard before going back to goofing off. When we got out of the wave pool, I saw the lifeguard being berated and shouted at by both the parents and who I assumed to be the manager.

I always knew something was wrong with my father. I don't remember a time when I didn't know he was a dud. My mother always punished me for it. It wasn't until I was an adult that I found out he was molesting my sister and other children and that he had been bending my mother's fingers back until the back of her hand was bruised. She always insisted she had hit her hand on something. He refused my mother a second round of cancer treatment (free under our universal healthcare) and she died. Edit: I wasn't sorry when he died a slow, painful death. The world's children are better off without him.

I have a current bad feeling about someone. My sister's fiance. He speaks to my sister very poorly. Once we were on vacation, and we heard him tell her to shut up and insult her several times. Everyone heard it. (By everyone I mean all of my sisters, my eldest niece, my mom, and myself.) He always talks to her like that and he's ALWAYS given me a bad feeling. I don't like him being around my niece (she's one year old) but it's for reasons I can't place. My eldest niece seems to feel the same way. Whenever he talks to her, she seems uncomfortable and awkward. And she usually isn't. Despite all of this, most of my family members love him. Say he's good with kids, funny, etc... And, honestly, I hope I am wrong. But I don't trust him and I refuse to doubt my gut feeling.

But this one guy walked past us, weirdest little small lense glasses ever and I just got weird vibes from this dude, but I didn’t think anything of it. He passes by us a few times in the store, which I found a little weird since target was pretty huge, but again, I just tried shaking it off as a coincidence. After target, there was a single plush I wanted from a mall which was at least 7 miles away but my mom said we could go since it was Saturday and we didn’t have anything else to do. So we drive all the way there Keep in mind this mall is huge. Four levels, I’ve gone to this mall all my life since we never moved and I still get incredibly lost. We also took some very weird entrance that was in the garage and brought you to the middle of the mall since that’s the path I memorized went I want to the store with my friends But as we were walking through the food court, the exact same dude from target. Walked right tf past us. 7 miles away, huge mall, random entrance, and we came straight there.so ofc I tell me mom and we all get tf out of there. Creepy 😐 be careful guys

Oooh I have a good one. My sister Sally started dating this guy a few yrs after she divorced her husband. Pretty much the first guy she dated after her husband cheated while she was pregnant with their first child. That's a whole other story. My whole family loved the new guy Ken. He made them laugh and was very extroverted. I was sceptical from the moment I met him. He seemed fake. One day at the table, he made a racist joke. My family laughed along, though kind of seemed put off and they tried to quickly move the conversation elsewhere. But it confirmed it for me and my boyfriend. We didn't like him and did our best to avoid talking to him. I told my other sister Jill I thought Ken was weird, but she disagreed. Fast forward only a few weeks, Ken became increasingly obsessed with Sally. They didn't live together but he would call her several times a day asking where she was. He would get jealous if she was with friends. Typical abuser red flags, really. She broke it off with him and he lost his mind. Screamed at her, threw things, stormed off. He showed up at my parents house while she was staying with them because she was afraid to go home. My dad and brothers had to tell him off. About a week after that episode, he messaged my boyfriend to hang out!!! My boyfriend is genuinely lovely and likeable and I think he thought he could get him to "see his side of it". My boyfriend never replied and simply blocked him. She's now engaged to a wonderful man. I'm really glad she left Ken before things got worse.

Had a gut feeling about .. someone. Let's call them Z. Maybe 5 years ago. Another, closer friend, let's call them Y, introduced them to me. Hated Z right off the bat, not because of how they acted, I really didn't know why. They were funny, respectful, and intelligent, so why didn't I like them? Fast forward 3-5 years, they'd ruined Y's mental health, telling them they'd die alone or they'd hurt people with how they were carrying on. Nothing was ever Z's fault either, it was just "tough love" when Y was .. having too much of that "tough love." Not only that, but Z was transphobic, homophobic, racist, and pedophilic. Even towards Y. "Y" and I have been free for a few months now. I hope Y doesn't reconnect. We're doing okay now, unfriending and blocking Z was terribly stress relieving.

Boss doesn't have much of a spine in these matters and another team essentially did another job for him for free. Only reason I wasn't sent back was the customer specifically mentioned I wasn't allowed on his property... the one guy who called b.s. and that he's up to no good. Me and my mom have family and I have a alot of friends that have been in the prison system so we aren't biased towards felons but for some reason my mom and I just got this sick feeling from this guy. Neither of us could stand being in a room for him for too long but still we acted civil since we didn't have any proof of anything and my dad liked him and had him over to our home every now and then to hangout. One time my dad was watching my 2 month old while walking around with her outside and I guess while I was inside our neighbor came over without my knowing. I guess my dad laid my daughter down on her play mat in the garage and asked our neighbor to watch my daughter while he went to the bathroom. I went out to the garage and he was squated on the floor above my daughter with his back turned with her diaper undone just looking at her. I started yelling at him to get away from her and he said I was misunderstanding the situation and he was just changing her diaper but he didn't have any wipes or spare diapers and her diaper wasn't even dirty in the first place. He acted like I was crazy for accusing him of something so horrible but I know he was thinking sick things. I called the police and made a police report but they said since there was no physical evidence of abuse and he had no sexual crimes in his history they couldn't do anything. I know he was doing something sick. He was so panicked at first when I started yelling at him. He's not allowed on the property anymore. I know something wasn't right.

People can delude themselves about the true nature of others because they like them. This is especially bad in the work place.

I had a bad feeling about the girl my friend was dating. I did not like her at all because of her "UwU" attitude. But something told me she was cheating on him because she seemed to hang out around a lot of guys and act a little weird when he got there as if she didn't want him around or was doing something she knew she wasn't supposed to be doing. He didn't catch on to it for a while. But I cared about his feelings so I didn't say anything. Found out later she was cheating on him with 2 other guys and started acting like she was the damn victim.

My mom’s ex husband. He always was nice to us but just felt, off. ~8 years later he started spreading rumors about my mom to my stepbrothers and their friends. As well trying and failing to emotionally manipulate both of us (especially me, I wear my heart on my sleeve and am very emotional). He ripped up as many photos of him and mom together, and overall acted like an overgrown toddler.

Not me, but my mom: Superintendent at our school was super nice and cool. Everyone loved him. Mom works as an aide for the school, and he tells her "You're being wasted as a library aide. I'm going to move you into technology." This is a good thing. He knows she does her work, compliments her, and gives her some accolades. From day 1 she was like, "Something is off about this guy. I don't trust him." Fast forward a few years, he's found guilty for embezzling funds from the school.

So weird that my dad had a tenant named "Alex" who also would always make up every detail about his life - he was an attoeney amd a realtor and every other flashy profession and had done everything anyone ever mentioned. Finally, he tried to be a squatter and never pay rent, faked an injury amd started buplying my dad, his landlord till I stepped in and scared the shit out of him if he didn't leave in a month. As he was leaving, jobless, penniless, he got a new girlfriend half his age amd had her whole family convinced he was a wealthy businessman.

I had a terrible feeling about my best friend's boyfriend in high school. I kept trying to tell her to stay away from him but she ended up dating him for 6 1/2 years. I never stopped trying to get her away but with no luck. Well they eventually broke up and everything about their relationship came out. Things like abuse, cheating, and drugs. She's now happy and away from him.

I keep my distance from everyone. I learned the hard way. The kindest appearing, most helpful seeming, people are often the cruelest, meanest, most back stabbing, people there are. For this reason, I simply turned off the social aspect of my life completely. I have no friends, no girlfriend, no aquantiences. But more importantly, I have nobody trying to victimise me, trying to make me the butt of their joke, and trying to take something from me. It is worth having nobody in your life if you avoid the hypocrites and backstabbers as well.

No, it's not worth it at all. I'm sorry to hear that you've been hurt by the people around you. You didn't deserve to be treated like that. No one does. I may be a stranger to you, but I want you to know that God loves you (I'm a Christian so pardon my preaching), and that you're not alone in this life. If you need someone to talk to, you can reach out to those who have suffered similar treatment as you. I don't know what you've been through, but all I can give you is a hug and some encouraging words. I hope you're doing okay now wherever you are.

@@kittyrose1245 I have found my safety, unparalleled peace, simplicity of life, and my emotional suppression due to maintaining a very well defined distance from all to be very worth the loneliness. Loneliness is a very mild emotion as compared to the cruelty humans can inflict upon the low ranking members of a social herd. The emotions stimulated, by other members of the herd, upon the low ranking members of a social herd can be crippling. Loneliness is not crippling. Anybody can function within established perimeters of a successful life while experiencing loneliness. With the deletion of the social aspect of my life, life has become so much more predictable. After deletion of the failed social aspect of my life, the misery that accompanied me disappeared. Now I am emotionally unbreakable! This, alone, is well worth maintaining a well defined distance from social humans.

@@kittyrose1245 Greatings and felicitations in this year 2023. I would like to answer the question posed to me before I lost my home last year and could not answer back until it was rebuilt. However, I have always been isolated because of medical reasons growing up. I never assimilated the customs and protocols associated with being part of a social herd, nor having friends. After I moved on my own, I attempted interpersonal, social, interaction and attempted to become part of a social herd. Initial attempts proved futile. However, when I stopped trying for a spell, a beautiful lass seemed to take interest in me when I went to my work's cafeteria. She was kind and seemed so interested in me that she said she wanted to help me with my social difficultes. After a few dates, she had me meet her friends and told me I should befriend them as well. She said it would be healthy for me. Initially I believed I was a member wonderful social herd, finally. But it was all a cruel ruse. My, "girlfriend," had me doing lots of work for her friends, which happened to just have become my, "friends," as well. I was constantly busy with them. Then I was asked to make payments of credit cards, vehicle payments, and help with house payments. It became really bad to the point that I could not afford to continue funding her friends, nor her. I finally became brave enough to tell my girlfriend that I had to decline helping all the people financially. She laughed at me and said, "You were so easy!" She walked to an empty lot and called a taxi. When the taxi arrived, she had it slowly drive past me while she mockingly blew me kisses saying, "Thank you!" Then suddenly all of them quit talking to me. This was acceptable for me because I wanted them to never iinteract with me again. However, three months later, some of them started making calls to me telling me how sorry they are were. To avoid all possibility of a repeat of the past events evef happening again. I deleted all traces of all of them from my life. Then I switched to working nights, disconnected my cellular telephone and got a land line with absolutely no options on it. A few months later, I found a different job far away and I moved there to be close to my job, and far from those that hurt me. Now I live in an extremely rural area, work nights completely alone, and I know nobody. I go weeks without seeing humans. This minimizes the possibility of ever being emotionally devasted. It is near a 0% I will ever be victimised by social predators again. If I have such problems detecting fakes females that claim they have interest in me, and false friends, I found I am far better to simply avoid everyone. This method has worked flawlessly for many years. I can not possibly sacrifice such security, independence, self-reliance, resourcefulness, and freedom just, for a tiny chance of making an authentic friend. That tiny possibility is not worth it. If I learn nothing from my mistakes, then they are destined to be repeated

@@indridcold8433 Oh my goodness, i hope you're doing okay after losing your home. Regarding what happened between you and your ex, I am so sorry to hear you were conned basically. What your ex and her friends did to you was unacceptable, no doubt about that. But, on the other hand, it wouldn't hurt to talk to a therapist if you can afford one. You may not want to see another human again out of fear of being hurt like that again, but maybe talking to someone about your situation could help a bit. If I could physically hug you, with permission of course, I would. But, instead, maybe an internet hug will do. 🤗 Glad to hear you're okay and alive all the same.

A friend of my sister had rubbed me up the wrong way the moment I met her Face-to-Face (thought it was just a upset stomach) but i couldn't sit still around her. Turns out a few months later she bullied my sis and started to hate her too. After that they stopped speaking!

I knew a guy who gave off weird vibes when I first met him but at first I thought I could deal with it. He then started flirting with girls that already had boyfriends and didn't stop when he found this out. This and other things made everyone not like him. The worst thing is that he would call everyone his friends but none of us liked him at all in the end.
