Personally, I find the darker black women attractive. Light skin can be pretty, but when you are attracted to black women, it's black features that are important - and the darker skinned black women possess those sexy African features in abundance.

None of this color ahit matters. Everyone from all over the world is. Beautiful. Their is no race or type of women that i can say is better. Thats just emotional opinions. We all know what opinions are like!

As a white male I have to say this, It's not the color of the skin that should matter, it's the common interest, the common goals an that bond each other has. To me, a woman is a woman regardless of her color, If she loves you for you, then keep her.

Agreed. When we first started dating and I realized just how similar me and her were in everything from politics to work ethics to, well, more intimate topics, I realized then and there that she was high quality wife material. I was very very lucky that she felt the same way and it was mutual. I went for it, and have never regretted making that decision.

Well I do! So much so I'm married to a smoking hot Guyanese lady. I didn't really see her colour. Just saw her! Said WOW! She's mine and strode over & the rest is history. Lucky for me, she apparently liked my voice & had to stretch her neck upwards and never seen a 6'4 bloke in a kilt before. Wa Hay!

As a white guy, here's the style of black women that I have always liked. I don't like light skinned black women. I prefer dark brown or blackety black. I like either small breasted with stick thin bodies or larger breasted with small waist and nice booty. I prefer the king's english and educated black woman. I love afro's or straight hair, or braided with beads. A black woman who loves white t-shirts, blue jeans and boots. All these qualities are things I look for.

I like the ones that are attractive, smart, fit, funny, and like to see the world. Oh wait that's with all women, since race is irrelevant to me.

There are probably hundreds of dating websites, some specifically for interracial dating. Some are free, some cost money, I haven't had better luck with the paid sites. My problem is dating women close to my age group (I'm 63), I find I have more in common with women closer to my age, regardless of race (we tend to like the same '60s, '70s, '80s music, etc).

It's all about what you have in common. Common faith, common goals, common interests. That's what really makes any relationship work. Color really is of know consequence. Beautiful women come in all colors and sizes.

I have no problem with black women dating/marrying white guys, after all black men have been dating outside the race for a long time. I prefer Asian/Spanish women but that's my preference. Life is short so let's stop worrying about who people want to date.

Just commenting on section of the video where Britt discussed being stared at as you walked down Madison Ave (around 7:30). From the young people perspective (because I'm a bit guilty of doing this when I see Bwwm couples) oft times the Black women starting are inwardly cheering for the couple. It goes back to feeling like society overlooked our beauty for that of the Eurocentric standard. Seeing a Bwwm couple is sort of validation (validation isn't the right word because I obvs know my worth and don't need my beauty validated) that my beauty as a Black woman is recognized. Maybe I and others in my age group will grow out of that but the staring is really like a head nod that sort of means "Good choice, sir!"

hmmm...that is very interesting. I've been married 17 years (+two years dating) and I've noticed the difference between how Black men look at us (or don't) and how Black women look at us. To be honest, some Black men don't seem too happy about it (some) but I never feel that with Black women. With Black women, I see them thinking. The wheels are turning. There's often this curious look, but they can't/don't want to say anything or ask, they just seem to be checking us out. Your perspective is interesting and maybe a little bit of the answer to what I've been seeing all these years.

black women are much more physically attractive than other races. i do like all races though, and all races have their beauty. it's just that i find a higher percentage of black women more attractive. so what do i like about black women the most? facial structures, hair (natural or otherwise), shape of hands and feet, legs & more. i really like darker girls better for the most part, but not always. personality is an interesting thing too. black women are usually less open to us white men, which is natural. white women are generally less open to non-white men also. i find that when i go to bars white women will often give me inviting looks, and not so many black girls will do that. and if i get a number the white girl will most likely be more interested in meeting up with me. but i think that has been changing in recent years... of course i live in milwaukee, a very segregated area. me and white women can usually relate to each other much better, and that is the same for any non-white girl who "acts white". this can be a problem sometimes with me and the inner city girls, but i would prefer a classy inner city woman to a "white" black woman, i am more drawn to their style and demeanor.

In general, openness is something to look for.

I am currently engaged to a white male and have dated "white" two other times......... I feel that it is not necessarily about a "type" of black woman that white men seek, but more about how they feel about what makes her an "appreciative person"! In my three encounters...... I have learned that white men like a humble counter-mate! My experiences have also taught me that they may just be tired of being "ran over"! I grew up in predominantly white cities/towns, attended all-white schools, and worked in predominantly white work environments. I have yet to hear any of my white female friends brag on their counterpart, in social discussions..... They would all seem to compare how much they have gained from him........ With that in mind, I structured my dating/relationship values (when dating any man, specifically white) around: --selflessness..... I am always willing to give, without expecting in return --enthusiasm...... I always show/make known that my partner's flaws are what heightens my physical attraction towards him. --loyalty...... Beside keeping him confident about the way I feel about him sexually,... I can/will also display my feelings (about him) while around all others! (I have often noticed that the few black women I know who date white guys are not willing to interact with or communicate to their white counter-part while in a predominantly a black community/environment. --good house keeping/multi-tasking abilities....... I feel it is necessary to cook, clean, maintain both you and your counterpart's wardrobe/dress. I have learned from several white women that they will NOT "put out" or do simple household chores.... if he wasn't willing to pay!!! Madness!! --respect...... It's self explanatory!

Mz Fantasy Thing is, most of the White guys I've seen with Black women (acknowledging I haven't seen most or all BW/WM couplings), including my a good friend of mine now divorced from a WM and my sister's marriage) don't want a 'humble' woman, but a woman who leads. They tend to be VERY deferential to the BW, if not outright submissive. Turns out my friend didn't like that quality in men. If this goes beyond my social circles, I'd love to know why that is. You hinted at it by the WM feeling 'run over' and taken advantage of. Perhaps SOME feel that the BW won't run them over, but simply take charge? I dunno. And there are PLENTY of gold diggers in all races and PLENTY MORE non gold diggers in all races.

I disagree with the part about being colorblind. Society creates and instills in us rules about races and color, a child born from mixed parents is racially colorblind until they are taught this way that society stereotypes us into groups. You do not have to accept it this way unless you want to. Instead you can accept it as another person. As time goes on in a mixed relationship the couple even views each other more as people and the color or race issue fades.

I like this video I grew up in south western Connecticut in a 90 percent black neighborhood. None of that race shit was ever brought up to me. I never felt a certain way around a group of black people. I would see white people act scared if they are talking to a group of black people it would make me upset cause I would say to myself like "why do u have to act like ur nervous talking to a person of a different race".

Permit me to offer my opinion. I'm 53 years old, and have not only dated black women since my 20's, I was married to a black woman for 9 years, and am presently engaged to get married: again, to a black woman. seek love from the race that brings out your strongest feelings and desires ..if u truly are attracted to black women or asian woman...seek it out ..u will find someone meant for you with the same desires aimed at you...don't conform to the status quo just to keep others happy.

Everyone likes different type of a girl/guy right ? we do have personal preferences,there are guys that prefer blondes over brunettes and I prefer dark skin plus after going out with black girls I started to like the way they are,so my king is honest not fake I guess.

Of course the most important thing about finding someone is the content of the character. That being said, coming from a purely aesthetic perspective, I (a white guy) personally LOVE extremely dark skin! The contrast of very dark skin with brightly colored clothes and makeup is amazingly gorgeous to me.

Reading these comments it's very easy to get offended by people's own opinions about the topic at hand. Every time I see a white man say "black girls = ugly" or "I don't find black girls attractive but every other race can be" I cringe a little bit. But I have to remind myself this is there opinion. I know PLENTY of black women who say the exact same about White men or white people in general and it never offended me because it's their preference. But I never could understand that. If someone is attractive they just are!! There's no need to call them ugly because your following the social paradigm and afraid you'll be shamed if you don't. I find people of ALL race have some attractive people. I'm a black girl and I've NEVER dated a white guy or been interested either but it doesn't mean they are ALL ugly. Smh . . . But to each his own.

I love a black woman who is strong, intelligent, beautiful, hard working, dedicated, honest, open-minded, with a wonderful imagination and a loving heart. I think that's the complete list lol

I think the "I don't see color" statement is a metaphor. People look into it too much and take it so literal. Of course we can see someone is a different skin tone, but you realize that doesn't really matter.

It would be nice to meet a black woman who isn't easily offended. Like I could make a racist joke and she could make one back. Also, we like long hair. I don't mind if it's fake but it has to look nice. Then there's issue of finding a black girl who's shorter than me. I think that's why Nicki Minaj is so popular, she is very short.

sometimes opposites attract - people like what they like in terms of looks and personality and the individual - people often have too many preconceptions and narrow-minded views. I am usually attracted to women who look "exotic" and different to me - I personally really like the dark complexion and the personality of a black woman - esp. when they have strong confidence and are proud of their bodies - it must depend on the person, like how open-minded they are and how willing they are to be themselves and forget about stereotypes.

Interesting conversation ladies concerning being "color blind". I have been with women of other races and I found that when you're with someone for awhile that's when you become "color blind". You start to just see the person you care about and features and skin complexion etc. become almost a non concern.The thing that is more of a concern is the cultural differences.An open minded person learns to "celebrate the difference" but by the same token you will quickly learn whether or not your partner is a bigot by how he or she deals with cultural differences.

In Germany , we have a saying "Wenn schon, denn schon" which probably best translates to anything worth doing is worth doing right. So my personal preference of a black girl would be a dark natural black girl, not one with weaves and relaxed hair and all that white wannabe shit... My wife is Sudanese and you haven't seen a black person until you have seen a Sudanese. Just my taste, I'm sure other white guys like the light ones so there is no type of black girl that all white guys like per Se.

Yeah the Sudanese women seem very proud of their natural hair, but remember their roots are mixed in with Arab, therefore it's likely to be longer and more able to style it.

As a white guy who likes black women almost exclusively, I honestly have no idea why. I just like black women and latina women more than an average white girl.
