What Tournament fishing is all about! 2023 Light Tackle Masters
Ahoy Legends this week I join the lads from Team Mojo to find out what Tournament fishing is all about in the 2023 Light tackle Masters held by the Gold Coast Game Fishing Club. This was my first every full game fishing tournament, and if this was any indication on what they are like, I'll be back for more!! It had it all, rough weather, good weather, hard times and persistence fish. Who could ask for more!

12 months ago next week I accidentally cut my wrist open with a shard of glass and haven’t been able to touch a rod since due to complications with my recovery 2nd surgery is in 2 days to attempt to fix it finally and your videos have been a true life saver 🍻 cheers Sammy

man that would suck but sammy is the true lifesaver i have got a bad sunburn on australia day and haven’t been able to sleep properly since and i cant go fishing otherwise my sunburn will make me pay but i can’t imagine how difficult 12 months without fishing must be it must be horrible i hope you can catch some monsters once you get back to the water wish you luck man

Watching this brought back great memories of the 2006 sunshine coast game fishing tournament, in which I won the light tackle champion. Greatest achievement of my fishing life and something I'll never forget. Cheers for posting this vid mate.

Well done for putting in a couple of solid days mate. Comps definitely arent for everyone. I personally love the competition and the days are long but when you hook up, the 15mins of fury can make it all worth it and carry you through the whole day
Nice mate. Wish the organisers would change the date for the conditions. This weekend was magic but small numbers. I only got one in 40 off the gravel patch Saturday.

5:15 I have fished for Fall Chinook/Coho in the mouth of the Columbia river here Oregon USA in swells like that. lol Its not really that fun, until you hook up!
