Be interesting to see how these beauties are going now there is more reserve areas. i imagine they are breeding up again. When they stopped commercial Mackerel fishing on Fraser island numbers really increased.

Yalls macs have a beautiful pattern what a solid fish! Ours get the same size but are just that silver color no stripes solid trip man!

@@SammyHitzkeFishing we got stuck into a bunch of good macks, there were plenty of em just none bigger than about 15-18kg that we saw. No wahoo unfortunately, don't think the water was quite blue enough for them. Still got a feed and had a ball though so can't complain.

I was at Bulwer on Friday with the missus having a good time catching a bit of snapper and sweetlip for a feed. Headed up a little north for some tuna action and managed to get a couple, but it's interesting to see that you guys got rained on, because we didn't see a drop the whole time we were on the water. Are you on the north west side of Brisbane, those hills in the background look like Keperra.

Which boat ramp do you launch from? I too live on the north side. There are many ramps not suitable for big boats. Cheers Chris

I launch from spinnaker sound at sandstone point. It's a great ramp, plenty of sand either side to beach the boat and get stuff ready!

@@SammyHitzkeFishing I like the ramp at Radcliffe Marina, it's a bit shallow at low tide but it has the floating pontoon between the ramps. Taking time and fuel into account the distance to Bribe v Scarborough and the distance from either ramp to go out past Bribe, Scarborough is the best option for me - less fuel - less time. Bloody hell Sammy you always come up with the goods, two good Mackies and poor Macca and his wahoo, at least he had a beer and dealt with it......Great footage and some good tips, You gotta stop this mate or we all gunna be out there lol just love watching it but rather be doing it. Gotta love when the the boys are onto a screamer !!!! . What speed you doin with the tailor, Bonito etc ? MMM flat tyre ,dead battery etc goes to show it happens to us all.

hahah Yeah I gotta stop giving all my secrets away!! Was a very eventful day that one, highs and lows ahahah. I try and go as fast as the baits will allow. it really does differ from bait to bait. Just have to take each one as it comes! Yeah wasn't super keen on the whole situation after, but you get that on the big jobs!

Hey Mate, cheers! In that kind of swell it's going to be fairly unpleasant out there even if the wind is only light. you main problem will be the bay. The bay is always really rough in big swell particularly if there is big tides at the time

Hi mate, i'm trolling at a very slow speed, it varies with the rigging of each bait, start slow and get gradually faster to see if your bait can take it. that baits swim 1m or 2 under the surface
