Never been a fan of flip-flops or ripped jeans. Both are extremely limiting and frumpy (as in not caring about how you look ) as far as I’m concerned. Love cropped blazers !! Glad to see all the sloppy look going out the door! It matters how you dress. You feel a certain way when you dress well and people look at you in a different light when you dress well. When you feel good about yourself due to how you dress & look, you exude confidence & others feel good about you too. 😊

Flip flops are casual only. I have never and never would wear flip flops to work or when dressing to do anything more than hang out at home or a summer recreation activity.

Never liked oversize blazers or dad sneakers. Used to wear dad sneakers, so clunky. I have always worn hot pink.

I love how sustainable and confidence building your message on trends is - that you are going to wear the items you love, even when they are not on the forefront of fashion. You set a great example. As a petite I will continue wearing my jeans with frayed hems. They have made it possible for me to choose from regular as well as petite sizes, are extremely flattering, and keeping and wearing them is the most environmentally friendly choice, Thanks for your leadership.

Interestingly I have some millennial pink, I’ll bet the shade changes slightly. Even those I bought in the past were different shades. Oh and it could be mistaken for peach fuzz, if the dye lot was warmer. I didn’t buy skinnies, dad shoes, ripped or frayed jeans. I probably have outerwear that looks oversized, because I’m “smaller” than what was offered. I have bought Mary Jane flats in Paris 2017, they were trending back then, and are now. Italy was showing a lot of matching colored tailored suits for women, last fall.

I agree I am sad that Barbie Core is over. i had so much fun wearing it. I even bought a puffer and trench coats. Like you said this pink is one of my colours so I will continue to wear it. Just not head to toe. Chris

I’m also going to keep wear bright pink. I JUST bought a bright pink satin midi slip skirt, darn it, and I do love that color. I haven’t really had a chance to wear it yet because I live in a cold climate and I work in a casual office. Maybe I will avoid buying a matching pink top and just try a black or white blouse, though. I have NEVER liked ripped jeans. My husband and I tease our teen daughter about them though!

Loved what you showed us...thank you. Pleased to hear that classic ballet flats are in. I loved wearing fuschia pink, so like you've said elsewhere, I will wear it anyway. It's one of my signature colours, and as you have suggested to buy lots of these accent colours, that's what I am going to do. I'll tell my husband that it is what you suggested 🕶🛍🩰

A great informative video Nada🤗 Nearly all the outgoing trends for 2024 I never liked anyway! The huge flipflops I found sooo uncomfortable and naff looking, never bothered getting any! I do like a ballet flat so that's great news! The huge blazer was another trend I didn't bother with, along with low rise anything! I do find blazer's that fit me very difficult to find as I'm a short bodied inverted triangle with big upper arms so not very blazer friendly! I will be going for the maxi skirt / dresses just love em! I will be wearing my classic coats but I've got my eye on a lovely red statement long coat that may be making it's way into my wardrobe very soon! 😜 I'm also glad that chunky trainers have disappeared again never bothered with that one either due to being a UK size 7 (US 9 Euro 40). I do also love Barbi pink and will still incorporate it in my wardrobe, but I really love red and green and I already have them in my closet. I'm also loving dark jeans (my go to colour in jeans) including wide leg and bootcut as I never got on with skinny jeans as they tended to be too short (long legs 32 inch inseam). So it seems it's going to be a fab year for me!!🤗☺

Not gonna miss those big blazers and over long boxy things, big dad sneakers, and sweats. I love the wide leg jeans and have worn them even during the skinny jean Era. Basicly I never go for trends that are extreme anything unless it really looks good on me.

Glad oversized is over. Not a fan of destroyed jeans or dad sneakers. In fact, the clothes I have will be on trend. I have saved ballet flats and loafers from years gone by. I’ve already replaced all my old jeans with updated ones. And any new trends such as midis I wouldn’t wear anyway. Thanks for the video

I literally have not owned or worn *any* one of these trends (except for 'classic' coat since, as you said, thats technically that's not a trend lol) - that makes it easy, lol! Though my favourite shoe brand is FitFlop, I ironically don't own a single pair of *flipflops* (even from them) - sandals yes, but never in the backless rubber 'toe thong' style. Which just goes to show you *can* be comfortable without flip-flops, even on the beach (& I live in subtropical humidity, so you *know* it's a 'mandated' uniform out here just as much as it is there in Florida lol!)

I'm probably the only millennial that was looking forward to low and mid-rise jeans/ pants coming back in style. High rise just doesn't fit my body right. Unless they are super stretchy, then I need to go up a few sizes to wear, which makes the pants look awful on me. It's been really hard finding clothes to dress cute in or even feel confident in these past few years.

Cropped doesn't have to mean hitting right at your natural waist! Slightly above the hips would still work - otherwise I like layering a longer top or tunic under mine for a makeshift 'faux peplum' look.

Like the big sneaker, I so wish that the yoga pant was only worn to yoga! Leggings are not pants and never will be! Isn’t anyone else wondering why leggings(stretched to within an inch of their life across someone’s derrière) are acceptable as day wear? That is not enough fabric to separate us as strangers! 🫣

Lol they're not even called 'yoga PANTS' anymore but rather 'flared LEGGINGS' - yet people can't seem to get the hint, & continue wearing them like trousers instead of leggings haha! Edit: formatting
