Super informative. I wish I had seen this before I bought my Jeep. Lucky for me it was rust free when I got it.

Glad you liked it! Yea I wish I would have seen this video before I purchased my first Jeep. The PO wire brushed and painted the frame. As well as raptor lined the entire thing to hide all the rust.

These Saharas are by far my favorite TJs! Either in this white or black with that tan interior. And those classic green and tan seats make for the best color combo I've ever seen in any Jeep. And we Jeepers know these 4.0's last forever with routine maintenance. Might have to do an engine rebuild every 325k or so miles, but it's certainly worth it. I almost bought one on several occasions back in late '19 but it didn't work out, either the frames were rotted out or other issues. But I was fortunate to find an '05 TJ Rocky Mtn with an immaculate frame, 4.0 I6, 3.73 gears with lsd and a Dana 44. I have it running and driving excellent, and would say overall, it's in new condition after a lot of hard work. Just have to do a paint correction this spring and it's done. Btw, anyone who blocks the 7 slot grill with angry bird eyes or even worse, that darth vader grill cover should be seriously injured. Unfortunately, I've come to expect this from the jk and jl people, but NOT from any TJ owner. A hood vent would look great on this Sahara and more importantly help that 4.0 breathe a little easier. You and I have very similar tastes then! This was my gift to myself when I finished my active duty time with the AF. It’s also my favorite color and interior combo. I almost purchased a Rocky Mt edition myself but all the original things like seats had been replaced. The rant about the grill was for fun but I honestly can’t understand why anyone would hide such a perfect iconic identifier. Anyways thanks for watching, more fun Jeep content is coming in the future! First will be a video on my 89 Firebird Formula.

The whole 5sp vs 6sp is a bunch of crap. I've had both the 5sp was noisy and didn't have as low of hearing as the 6sp Mercedes trans. The 6sp is wayyy better setup for my 06 rubi. I love it.
