Ive got two of them. Most issues like marker lights leaking, ac, etc are pretty easy to fix. What I would look for is interior such as door panels and dash. Hummer doors shut with a feathers touch so EVERYONE slams the doors and it destroys the door panels. Good luck to anyone looking to buy one. Take your time and buy the one you love

I used to get mad every time someone would slam the doors like they was sealing their life problems away 😂😂 . Till this day I’m pretty sure my front passenger window regulator went bad do to hard slamming.

Just bought a 2008 H2 that was owned by a dealer. Bulletproof 6" lift, 38/1550/20 tires/wheels, Gobi full rack and all new suspension and it runs like a top with 123K miles. You can really tell when someone truly loves and takes care of a vehicle (tons of maint receipts) - this one is like new! I am putting a Roofnest Falcon tent on it, putting in drawers/storage in the back and turning this into my overland vehicle. Jazzed!

Make sure all the electric seat controls work, get the U-steps, make sure the climate controls work on both sides of the truck (heat and AC), check the front wheel bearings, look at the radiator and transmission fluid for cross contamination, and get a new air filter. Look at the tow hitch to get an idea how much it was used to tow. If you want it lifted, lift it yourself to make sure it was done right. Also, check the ball joints and ball joint boots because they are almost always torn.

Bought a 2nd H2 this color and I have a black one too that I daily drive. Thinking about blacking out the grill on the beige one. It has a chrome brush guard but I'm replacing it with a black one. A few slight dents slipped past me when I was looking at purchasing it but I think I can have them pulled out hopefully not too much money. The paint is really good on it though better than the black one I had. Yeah, the beige one I just bought the mirrors don't fold in at all. The black one works fine. Oh well. I haven't fold in the windows that much anyway. My beige one didn't have a 3rd row seat but I put the one from the black one in it since I put a full 3rd row in it. I probably shouldn't have bought the beige one, it also had a cracked dash but I got a replacement and it was missing the front skid plate but I got one to install. Several things I didn't notice but I was in a hurry and out of town. I'll fix it up, prices have gone up on these.

I have a 2005 Hummer H2 I just replaced my roof top marker lights. After a recent heavy ran and water started dripping water through the roof dome lights. I replaced my set of side view mirrors. I ordered them from my local GMC dealership and they installed them. I removed my roof racks years ago and I like the profile much better with them off. I removed the the third seat. No one can sit back there anyway. The spare tire is mounted in the cargo area. Let people know that they need to do proper maintenance and use the synthetic products for the oil, transmission, etc for all the moving parts. I actually scraped the rear air suspension system and went with a Bilstein shock system. They’re fun to drive and own!! They’re awesome to own!

There are two plastic covers on the outside of the A pillars that support the front window ... as time goes by the 3m glue on the plastic pillars fades the gets hard and air will begin to get under the plastic as you drive. You need to get the H2 up to about 60mph ... and you will notice a audible vibration from the front pillars ... the faster you go the louder and more annoying the sound will get ... as air is pushed faster and faster under the plastic ... To repair this you can do two things ... #1) You can order new pillars covers from GM and have someone install them for you or install them yourself ... there are only 2 screws holding the covers in place once you open the door ... #2) you can pull the covers off yourself ... shoot some silicone up under them where the 3m tape used to be and screw them back onto the H2 ... I suggest waiting 24 hours to drive it if you do that ... If you chose to replace the covers with new ones you should be good for the next 5 to 6 years ... if you go the cheaper route and use the silicone ... you may have to repeat the process every year or two ...

Hey man, Ive been watching your videos for a while and your channel has serious potential. Honestly, If you scripted your videos (brainstorm ur ideas, then write a full script) and make them a decent length (5-10) minutes and filled with information that you have said in many of your previous videos, you would have some very very good content on your hands. Also. Show your sub count. Believe it or not, showing that will make your viewers want to help you grow.

Thanks for all the advice. I spend quite some time researching . This year i wanted to experiment with a hidden sub count for some time and see what the results are eventually ill show it back up . The last video I posted was 30 mins long for a few reasons 1 i need to bring my watch time back up and a long video does 2 things for the algorithm 1 makes KZread share the video even more with non subscribers that potentially could turn into new subscribers there for it also helps me build watchtime and leaving some information out of the video was also intended to create more interaction in the comments that also triggers the algorithm to share the video even more .

Royal purple motor oil, Mobil 1 gear oil, royal purple power steering, and Valvoline full synthetic trans fluid. Also dot 4 brake fluid makes a big difference in the earlier H2’s (2003-2007).
