Thanks for the review. I have the same grinder and have a big brush on it. I plan on using it to get some old paint off my metal roof. The trigger lock scares me though. What if I accidently drop this thing and it starts dancing all over the roof or worse it comes right at me. I would feel safer if that lock switch was not there on the trigger, but then again if it wasn't I might set it down on the ground and it start spinning if something is under it. :( . This way if my hand comes off then the grinder would automatically cut off, although slowly comes to a stop. Any Ideas or suggestions? Thanks

The trigger lock has to be physically locked in. If you do not actually lock the trigger on as soon as you let go it should shut off, if it does not then it is faulty.

I actually noticed once that trigger locks and you wrap your hand around it, it unlocks, I can just hope this actually happens if my hand comes off. This grinder is not light and I'm 6'3, 225lbs. Heavy

If you are concerned I would make sure not to lock the trigger. I can see your concern especially when being on a roof.

Grinders are dangerous enough. My advice is look for another model if you have any safety concerns about the design. Or try it and return if needed. I can compromise on many things but not on safety with a nasty machine like this, and I've had a minor mishap with an AG.
