What To Expect From ARH | War Thunder

Oh yeah, and fuel sliders, severe damage, TAC VIEW (epic), more premiums... got some cool things coming/already here, gamers. To be quite honest with you, I'm most excited about that part where gaijin says (paraphrasing) with 8-10 missiles/plane, 16v16 is too much. If you don't know what the heck I'm saying... watch the video!
Please note, this video is a scheduled upload, completed on Monday at 3:23 AM, right before I hop on a flight for a 7:05 AM departure out of town. Yeah, that's called commitment, baby. The point of me telling you that is because when there's exciting, new, buggy stuff like this being tested, the situation tends to be pretty dynamic, meaning lots can change quickly. So by the time this gets published, some stuff could be a bit different. I'm sure it won't be too far off- that's why I kept it more general, for now. Anyways, please enjoy this UNSCRIPTED (crazy, rip robo voice soup) post comm talking about how I think ARH will effect top tier gameplay.

    @@nimbosoup I was absolutely wrong. Now that I have R-77s in the live server, they absolutely suck because of their waffle fin things and the 120A is the best at long range and second at close range. At close range MICA is the best

    It would be really nice if you could make videos on the VG.33, J 22, D.500/501/510, Re.2000/2002, and/or Fokker D.XXI. They're real hidden gems that none of the CCs seem to cover.

    To be quite honest with you, the only vehicle I'm really familiar with out of those is the J22. But, I'm down for some research! I'll look into em- no promises on a timeframe, though

    the reason why fox 3's will be ruined is because you can still just fly under 25m ground level and all proxy fuzes get disabled. they need to remove this so that the noobs can go in head first and die and the good players can have bvr fights avoiding the nez. without this they will essentially remove the skill from fox 3's and bvr fights and it will also minimize its impact on the current gameplay loop.

    Pros and cons... if missiles can hit people super low to the deck, every player in the lobby will just die on the first pass unless they fly all the way around the map lol

    @@nimbosoup imo it should just be like dcs w larger maps n more opportunities for long range engagements. it would be more realistic n way more fun than the current “fly low, shoot off missiles in a furball, then either die or wait for the guy who runs all game to die” gameplay loop at top tier

    1v1 BVR customs at high altitude when Better Fox-3's with more range come out will be so fun

    If 16v16 stays I think they should redo it. Have squads of 4 take off at different parts of the map so there are smaller battles. Sure everyone could just head to a central location but top tier does need some tweaking to be more enjoyable.

    I think airfields scattered around the map (equidistant, ofc) is actually an interesting concept. Make it trickier to find players and keep individual fights smaller, perchance.

    Multipath has to go until fixed,ppl have been handheld too much by it,they need to learn instead of only flying low and being invicible against radar guided ordnance

    Basically if ARH releases and they still don’t remove 16v16 then I doubt anyone would remotely enjoy this game at all apart from Chinese nationalists and Russian mains ofc

    F..k fox3.With current game play and physics in game you can't even use the sparrow f/m at long distances,unless you target a dead brain f4s player.

    Yeah, they pretty much need to be flying straight and high for SARH to hit at long distances.
