I've been in it about 6months also ,and agree with most everything you have said ! Cr England is a really good school to start with, went there for 2 months loved it ! then I went to Schneider and have been with them 5months now or so ! It's been good also, they train you well ! I recommend either one to drive for ! I'm also saved and Holy Spirit filled , so that makes the whole job and career , an awesome experience! Glory to God and my Lord Jesus Christ !!!

How did you lose 20 pounds if you don’t mind me asking? Were you going to the gym on your resets? I’m starting C.R. England next month and health is really my only concern. I been in the gym consistently last 4 months because I got way to overweight and had high blood pressure so I had to get it together and I’m worried after I start driving all that hard work will be for nothing because I won’t be able to have time to work out especially when I’m with my trainer

It’s not easy if I’m being honest but I had to really put my foot down when it came to eating but I spent like $100 or so on like the portable cooking pans and slow cooker I learned to follow recipes and I only ate 1 once a day and I made snacks sucks as peanuts, walnuts in case I do get hungry but I stayed away from all fast food if I went to another state maybe I’d eat something new but never consistently because your driving for so long you get hungry but you don’t really need to eat your body doesn’t waste a lot of energy sitting down for 10 hours or so and every time I got out of the truck I would do 20 push ups every single time I didn’t care who was watching I put my gloves on and did it it was hard it was really hard because I’m the type of guy to eat everything I can but it really improved my health and sometimes after a drive I’d do a little jog around the truck stops it helps with the circulation with blood through out your body it takes blood longer to get to your legs so it’s not really healthy sitting down all days also helps with hemorrhoids and bowel movement especially anxiety

@@lethalirlgaming3706 ok thank you so much for that advice. I know it’s definitely possible since you said you loss 20 pounds so I’m going to do what you said. And you should make a video about how you cook in the truck. I was thinking about getting a air fryer and hot plate to stop from eating out as well. I barely eat out now I cook most of my food that definitely helps a lot

you speak a lot of truth, I had a very good experience at their school. learned so much about the truck, what to look for, pre trip, etc. where I am now, I train a lot of new truck drivers who are fresh out of some rinky dink school and they know $hit about how to be a professional truck driver. They don't know how to do a proper pre trip on their tractor or trailer, what to look for, etc. how to pre trip when they are about to begin their shift, in terms of where to take a break, or where to finish their shift. Also, NOBODY I've trained even looks at weather, no matter the season, which shocks me. How are you begin your shift and not know what type of weather you may come up against. Too many steering wheel holders out here and not enough professionals. Also, IMO, going local in the beginning wasn't the best for me, as I made more $ GOING OTR. Pretty much straight away, me and .y co-driver from the school got a dedicated route with Daylight, approximately 6k miles a week, made decent money, After my 2nd year, I made just under $70k before moving on. My co driver left and went local with CR on a local Walmart shift and he said even after 4-5 months working the Walmart shift, he never came close to making the same $ as OTR. But, some people aren't made for OTR, running hard, or with snow, fog, etc.
