Thunder/lightning run the flats fish off to deeper areas. Takes a fue days for them to clam and move back

sooo i do not know, but I am curious if, saltwater “sits on top” the freshwater when we get this much recent flood runoffs in the bays? or vice versa? or does it all just mix together? And if so, does it affect one’s daily fishing strategy?

Saltwater is more dense and is on the bottom.
