Hello doc ,,, I am from Bangladesh ... I had a rod implant inserted in my left femur for 6 years .. my bone is completely healed now but it took time about 4-5 years ... Yes. I just got my lapiplasty bunion surgery 8 weeks ago. My doctor had prescribed some painkillers, but I didn't need it . I only took advil dual action ( over-counter) for the first several days after surgery to manage the pain.
