Eat plenty of fiber, variety of plants. Blueberries and other berries, cruciferous vegetables, flaxseed, avocado. Eat the rainbow. 🌈

I like getting outdoors in the mornings and late afternoons to walk or hang up washing. So 15-20 minutes at a go. Stay away during the middle of the day. I am in South Africa so quite a bit of sunshine…. Vit D levels are good and am not worried about skin cancer.

New to this, please help me know how to get enough protein and how much we need? I’m trying (very slowly) to get my gut healthy after years on low carb and virtually no fruits snd veggies. Thanks and God bless!!

Please do not worry about protein, ever. I was low carbs for most of my life and changed that 5 years ago to high carb plant based and never felt better in my 60 years long life. (Lost weight, joints stopped hurting, skin got younger look…) There is protein everywhere even in spinach. Let me explain - it’s not protein we need, it’s amino acids as building blocks for our human protein which are converted into it in our liver. If you eat animal protein our body needs to ‘take it apart’ which is a very difficult process to get amino acids out of it and then it makes human protein out of these amino acids. So please do not worry about protein as every plant has plenty of amino acids for your body to make the RIGHT kind of YOUR protein. Hope it helps and good luck! 😊

@@CrazyOnlineBusiness Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! I’m 62 yo and have done the low carb thing most of my adult life too. Your explanation makes a lot of sense and I am slowly trying to get my gut used to this way of eating, it’s been a struggle. Thanks and God bless!!

I see so many animal keto fans (most folks going low carb) land up with very bashed skin after a year or two.
