If you happen to be ignorant of where to go am to pm in Hong Kong this is a great guide to making it simplified and enjoyable for you.
The signs are covered with red pieces of paper because the restaurant was waiting for an auspicious day for their "formal opening". But Lin Heung Lau has been around for a long time and recently had to close. They decided to reopen again because their staff took over the business from their former employer. Therefore, they were "opening" again.
Love me some dim sum and char shui bao looks like some popular places.

@@StephandPete We’re headed to HK end of May! Spending two months in South Korea, and then onto Taipei and HK for a few days each on our way home. We’re only in HK for two days - would you guys recommend visiting Macau or just staying in HK to get the most of it? Can’t wait for the Taiwan videos too - looks incredible already!
What an amazing trip! Would ❤ to go too! 😊

Funny you should mention it-- not this trip but we may be transiting through in a couple of months with time to make one visit.
2:41 I think I'm on Ten's side. If I had ordered pork bun I would probably have been served a bun that was either steamed or baked with pork filling in it. So, the corned beef and egg should have been inside a sealed bun. What he had was like he said is 'on a' bun. Haha, it was a fun little debate. In any case , I hope his sandwich was delicious regardless.

KZread wants me to rewatch this like constantly so I’ll leave a comment. Must be a nice problem to have.
As a recent visitor to HK, I gotta say u have to have thick skin almost everywhere you go there..... most service staff show a blank face, not a greeting or a thank-you.... so that was quite a culture shock to us! And at that round 2 dim-sum place (Lin Heung Kui), the staff there were EXTREMELY rude and because it was our first time, we didn't know how to manage chaotic table-grabbing... and just because I look Asian, some of those old guys just kept yelling and making me move in Cantonese..... but other than that episode, HK is a food paradise if you can find good value eats!!
Wow Hong Kong IMMIGRANTS South Indian food wow
You guys are China-Pro. You know the deal . Well you are Chinese, You guys knows how to eat Chinese food. Good for you, Take care.
