I think this makeover is top notch! This is the type of piece you'd see at West Elm, Article, Urban Outfitters and other high-end furniture boutiques. You have an excellent eye for marketable pieces. Thank you so much for supporting the food banks. The need is great and their donations are down. Bravo Katie 👏 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The wood filler in a baggie idea was great! Then snip and squeeze filler into crack just like a baker would apply frosting. You win the prize 🏆 for thinking outside the box and adapting for a simple, easy and elegant solution. ❤🛠️
Nope, we thank YOU! There is nothing more gratifying than giving back…. Oh, and the piece is awesome! Love, love, love the color.
You have such a great design sense, Katie. You come up with some transformations that I would never ever think to do.
The colour is perfect, the knobs really compliment the dresser and the base is so inspiring! Love it!
Another beautiful job, Katie, Scott! You never cease to amaze me and I love the color. Shout out to your husband, “Mr. salvaged” for all his help. Take care, stay safe.

I personally don’t like the new bottom. I think it’s a poor design choice to not leave adequate space between the bottom of the dresser and the floor. It is not durable, it’s going to get banged into by shoes/ boots, vacuum, cleaners, toy cars cars, and anything else within an inch of the floor. Furthermore, it doesn’t allow for easily cleaning underneath the dresser (without moving the entire dresser on those tiny little felt pegs). I need furniture that I can clean around and use without damaging it. That’s why wood furniture is supposed to actually have legs on it.
This is why I love watching your videos. You are so informative and you show the mess ups. I learn so much from your videos. Dresser turned out so pretty
Whoa! Sleek, classic, and timeless! Girl, you are the BOSS!
Besides being incredibly talented I love that you are going to donate the profits. You are a kind soul. 😊
I think that is one of the prettiest pieces you have ever made over, it is just stunning. I don’t know how you manage to part with them!
How lovely the chest looks! Katie you are a real transformer from sad to gorgeous! And what a great idea to give to the food bank. I’m sure it’s well appreciated 🎉
What a clever way to fill the hardware holes!! Love your channel!
It is gorgeous Katie! Bless you for donating all of your flips! You have a good heart! ❤️❤️❤️
THANK YOU Katie! For your pride and care crafting these beautiful make-overs and especially thank you for providing help to the local food bank. Very kind of you and the chest of drawers looks fabulous! Love this green for sure! :-)
Having your hubby help is awesome, the dresser is awesome. Thanks for keeping it real, I too would spill the paint😂
I am so glad you showed the paint cleanup and good save on the remainder of the paint! Love what you did with that piece!
Just sitting up in bed, with the beginnings of a cold and feeling a bit blah 😨. When along came the lovely Katie with a wonderful new transformation to cheer me right up!! Thank you for showing us your snow … it’s spring here in Oz and the birds are singing and the sun shining! I feel better already 🫠
"Mr. Salvaged." . That dark green is a beautiful choice for this little chest; it looks like a million bucks.

I know, that “Mr. Salvaged”, cracked me up.
And again Magic has landed on this Piece !!!Amazing what a color and new hardware can do on a older and dull chest of drawers , and so you did it again and it is looking absolute great !!! My Compliments !!
Wow Katie... You turned a "Discard" into a showpiece! It's really lovely.
Katie, you do such a great job taking care of all the little details. I am learning so much by watching you do your makeovers! This piece turned out so beautiful.
Wow, what a great transformation! So glad to hear that you're donating the profits from this project to your local food shelf. I volunteer for a food shelf & it's these types of donations that keep us afloat. The need is so great right now. Thanks for sharing your time & talents in such a wonderful way.
That turned out super nice! Another good job!
I really like the new trim on the bottom of this dresser. Big improvement. Bless you for donating the money to the food bank. Thanks for sharing your expertise.
Well, that is what a drop cloth is for! 😅 Love the outcome of this piece. The hardware is fantastic.
Bravo for donating your profit to help those in need of food. I love your videos!
Love that you changed out the trim on the bottom. Another stunner. TY for doing the donation. That is awesome. ❤❤❤
I found your channel randomly. I’ve been watching because I got a couple pieces I wanna makeover and turn them into great pieces
Bravo for supporting your local food bank.
Love the makeover and your generous heart my friend!!
Wow!! Amazing! I'm also glad to see I'm not the only one that drops things! LOL So nice you are donating the profits too! Thank you for all your instructions!
Beautiful transformation! Your food bank will appreciate your donation. ❤
It really blesses me to see you try to save as much as you could of the spilled paint. ❤️
Fabulous update and makeover! I love that you use different paints for different pieces. I’m absolutely in love with Sherwin Williams’ Emerald paint and that color is gorgeous. Everything about this dresser is A++++++!🌸

Completely different from the beginning. Your projects are so inspiring.
The tips you give are so useful and detailed. You are amazing!
The dropping of the paint can was hilarious😂 Glad you could salvage some off the drop cloth!
Donating to your food bank is an awesome thing to do. I read an article that made me think about what to donate. Items I never thought about. Canned food is a given but I know meal kits are donated. What is not donated is what goes into the kits. It also lists personal items for women and babies. I'm not sure if my food pantry is equipped to store cold food and essentials. I intend to call.

So true! We donate regularly but with this project we’re specifically planning to purchase a bunch of perishable dairy items (milk, butter, yogurt, cheese) to help out for the holiday weeks when the kids are home from school and may not have access to their regular breakfast/lunch programs at school.
Of all the colors you’ve chosen, I think this is my favorite. Now I know what color I want to use for dresser! Love it!
Love how the hardware and new color go together.
That turned out beautifully! Way better than my limited imagination pictured. Green is not one of my favorite colors but I absolutely love this color on this piece!
Love this color! 😊

By renovating an old piece of furniture, you were able to create a beautiful product, and this is a sign of your skill and creativity.
Oh, Katie! Your face after you dropped that can of paint was priceless! Love the green clor.
The restyle is great and the green color is beautiful.
Hi Katie, I love your channel so much! Missed the “Hello my furniture friends” at the beginning of the episode. It’s totally iconic ❤
So happy to see how to replace the horrible decorative scroll on the bottom
That is beautiful! Your craftsmanship is matched by your artistry. Nice job! 👍
Green and brass! My favorite color combo! 😍
Turned out absolutely glorious, and I'm totally stealing that ziploc hack...genius!!
I love this dresser! You did such a phenomenal job on it!!! ❤
I remember having a chest of drawers like that about 50 years ago! It's lovely in the new colour and less fussy styling! kindest regards, k
Beautiful Katie. As always. And the generous gift to your local food bank..... 😊
Gorgeous color and such an amazing update for that little cheapy dresser. I really like what you did with the bottom.
New trim just makes it! I absolutely love this colour! 😊
OMG! That is SUCH a great improvement! I love that style, too!
You are one of my favorite furniture flippers. Love your work.
Really appreciate Mr. Salvaged too!
Thank you for the snowfall shot… I live in Florida and we don’t get that here..😂 Love, love, love this piece!!

Perfect. Really like the elevation to reduce skirting damage.
Stunning. Bravo.
Thank you for this video! I picked up the desk bureau version of this exact piece for $10 at a consignment shop and wondered how in the world I would make it over. It's in pretty good condition but the front piece screams 'take it off!'. Thanks, Katie, for another amazing flip.
I like the added piece to the bottom. Made it look modern. Came out so nice. Love the green color! Just FYI: you are a lovely person with such a big heart. (Always making donations) Stay beautiful!
I love this color and the gorgeous transformation you did. I will have to watch more of your videos to see what is trending and also check out the high-end furniture boutiques to see how to get inspiration for my projects! I love the fact that you kept in the paint spill! That is so me! And more importantly, that you are contributing your profits to those in need! Way to go!
Love how this piece turned out! I also wanted to mention that often food banks have deals with food suppliers to buy food at a discounted cost, so donating the equivalent money to a food bank rather than actual food can go further, and they can get exactly what they need. That being said, obviously anything helps and I think it's really admirable that you donate the profits from the sale of this piece!
Canadians are the best! This video is very good great content thank you😊
Oh Katie! I had to laugh when the paint can spilled … not AT you, but with you. I do stuff like that, too! You always do beautiful work on these pieces that are so outdated & rough looking. Your videos are very comforting.

Great job Katie. Love the color and hardware together. Bless you for donating to your local food bank.
Another beauty, Katie! So fun and informative to watch.
Great improvement indeed, nice clean lines and I love, love, love the colour. Thanks for saving this piece of furniture.
I think it looks great, and I love the proceeds are going to a food bank. Their shelves are pretty empty this year because of inflation and high interest rates. You’re very kind.
Damn, you make it look so easy! Absolutely beautiful. Two thumbs up.
Fantastic re-style ❤ thank you for blessing others with the proceeds you’ll get from this chest.
The color is spot on. Great job
Wow!! You never disappoint. Beautiful!

Love the way this turned out especially the color. ❤
You always have inspiring visions for pieces and this one is even better than I had imagined you'd do! I also love your generous heart donating the proceeds of this dresser to the food bank.
Hi Katie, Wow just beautiful! Most all greens is my favorite color! Can’t wrong with green in my opinion lol Job well done! God Bless sweet girl ❤
I love it, the color, pulls and knobs, its gorgeous!
You are a talented angel 😇
Oh my goodness that is so me…I would have dropped the paint as well..😮…the dresser is beautiful as always!
It is simply beautiful. I love your choice of hardware too!!
Thank you, Katie, for making a complete novice like me, feel I might be able to do something like this one day. I'd have to borrow Mr. Salvaged, though, to do the measuring and mitreing!
Beautiful as always Katie....❤
The updated bottom skirt on that dresser is perfection. Love it
Beautiful! Love the green.
