For the year 2024, The first day of Dhul Hijjah will commence on Friday, June 7th. The day of Arafah will commence on Saturday, June 15th. Eid al-Adha (Day of Nahr) will commence on Sunday, June 16th. Don't forget that the night precedes the day in the Islamic calendar. So the first night of Dhul Hijjah will commence on Thursday, June 6th, at sunset. If you plan on offering sacrifice (Udhiya), make sure not to cut your hair or clip your nails after sunset on Thursday, June 6th. May Allah allow us to reach the ten blessed days of Dhul Hijjah with good health and faith.

​@@banirahman4926 Allah says the sun and moon move by precise calculation. Saudi Arabia uses the Umm al-Qura calendar, which is based on precise and accurate calculations. Moon sighting isn't a prerequisite to establishing the beginning of each lunar month. My dates have been confirmed by Saudi Arabia and astronomers around the world.

@@mrhassanali3297 I didn’t know that Saudi Arabia followed a calendar. I thought they announce the day of Hajj after seeing the moon. Our local masjids announce the first day of Ramadan and the day of Eid ul Fitre. But for Eid ul Adha our masjid waits for Saudi Arabia to announce the day of Hajj.

Not cutting nails or hair only applies to the people who're at Hajj, not us.

Inshallah we used these 10 days to make a duwa to our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Offcourse we make a duwa in every prayer 5 x a day but these days we have the best of fuwa and Allah InshaAllah will lift the Palestinians peoples in a better place and disintergrated Israelians Apartheid Occupation🤲🤲🤲🤲

May Allah accept our ibadah Jazakallahu Khair 🤲🙏.

I will, bi'ithni, attempt to walk to the neighborhood Masjid for Jumu'ah during the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah because each step earn's one a year's accepted night time prayer and a year's accepted fasting. May Allah (swt) accept the good deeds of all the believers during this beautiful month. Ameen.

The last ten days of ahdul ghidja. The best days of ahdul ghidja , u days of Arafat, then the best of Ramadan is the last ten days of Ramadan. This is the Eid you had to sacrifice. And slaughter a sheep to sacrifice. You fast then ten days of Arafat. You make dua , forgiveness of sins. Algamdoelielah, u had to give up something u love the most . The last 10 days, I give up someone I loved the most . I rather give it up now , and be rewarded argierah the year after . I never leave u blink of an eye, on Arafat. Allah Akbar Ameen ❤

It's good to encourage people to do good deeds.but the best deeds is preserve of families ties. No matter if yu fast a million days but you carry hatred in your heart.

For instants we always celebrate Eid ul Adha a day after Mecca. Im so confused about this. My understanding is there's only one day if Youme Arafah. Can the Sheikh please explain. Shukran so much

So shud we skip for Friday because its haram.to keep fast on friday other than Ramzan . pls anyone who knows the answer pls repky so that I can keep my fasts without causing any haram iby not following the sunnah of Prophet SAW

We are allowed to fast on Friday as long as we acommpany it with fasting on the previous day or the day after (Thursday and/or Saturday)..

Because my parents told that its not permissible in Islam to fast on Friday, Tuesday Wednesdays n Sunday. Acc. To Prophet SAW Sunnah he used to fasts on Mon Thurs and Saturdays because these are the days where the records of our Muhasiba goes to Allah SWT. Pls advise if U can
