What To Do in Brasov, Romania!
After lots of rain during our first few days in Brasov, it finally cleared up enough for us to explore the city! In this video, we'll show you exactly what to do in Brasov, Romania. We love this charming Transylvania city and we know you will, too.
We started off in Council Square, then checked out the Black Church and Rope Street. After that, we hike to the top of Mount Tampa to take in the beautiful views. After a long hike, we felt we had earned a sweet treat and try out a delicious Romanian delicacy.

I did not know anything about Brasov before today. But an Instagram friend in Romania visited here and posted a few photos. That is what sparked my interest. In my earlier years, I was quite the hiker but not any more. If I were ever to come here, I would depend on the cable ride.

It was a steep climb but nice to get a workout in before eating kurtoskalacs :)
When I was there 8 years ago I'm sure there was no Starbucks or subway and there was renovations going on in the black church so couldn't go in, I was there volunteering and I hope I can go back one day

There's a place in Brasov where they have Chimney Cake (Kurtos Kalacs) with icecream or cream in it, it's called Good Food Ro, their site is called goodfoodchimney(dot)ro if you want to their menu, it's pretty expensive but it is so good

Brassó /Kronstadt was given to Romania in the Trianon Diktat of 1921. All the architectural monumental buildings that were built before 1921 were German Saxon and Hungarian. Nothing to do with Romania at all. Romanians didn't even live in Brassó until it was given to Romania

Well mates, Romania is beautiful, but our economy and politics are extremely bad. The reason 6 mil people left Romania is to make money, because most of us don't have job and the minimum salary is 200-300$:)
