What to do if you’ve forgotten the password for your WiFi network
If you’ve forgotten the password to your WiFi network, thankfully you have a few options.
The first thing you need to do is find a mobile device (laptop, phone, or tablet) that:
--Is currently connected to the WiFi network you forgot the password to
OR
--Was previously connected to the WiFi network you forgot the password to
As long as you have a mobile device that has connected to the WiFi network that you forgot the password to at least once, you should be able to use the device to look up the network’s password.
That’s because these mobile devices maintain a list of all the WiFi networks they’ve previously connected to, along with the password for each network. You just need to know where to look.
If you don’t have a mobile device that has connected to the WiFi network that you forgot the password for, all is not lost.
You have the option of using a device to log in to your router’s settings to change your WiFi network password to something that you won’t forget.
If this is the situation you have found yourself in, I have previously made a video detailing how you can change the password of your WiFi network. You can check out that video here: • How to Change Your WiF...
With all these options at your disposal for recovering your WiFi password or creating a new one, you should be back up and running in no time.

What iOS are you using? My iPhone shows neither the Password field, nor the Edit link in the top right.

At the time I recorded this, I was probably using the iOS that a few versions before 17.4.1. I hope this helps!

I have noticed it's possible to split a network so that the 5 GHz channel is separated between "5 GHz" and "5 GHz High". I believe 5 GHz high is faster. Is that true? If so, why would someone choose 5 GHz rather than 5 GHz high?

@brianmercer6967 in this case, the 5GHz and 5GHz high essentially allow you to connect more devices to the 5GHz network because there are two separate 5GHz WiFi networks. In terms of performance, they offer similar specifications (although 5GHz technically supports a slightly higher bandwidth)
