What To Do After Your Pets Have Been Exposed To Mold | Pet Detox

❤️ This is where I get my supplements that I use to support my yorkies detoxification after living in mold. I only start one supplement at a time, and I give them a very small amount to start (just a few drops)
It is gentle and safe (and effective) but I do personally do a smaller dose for my tiny dogs than is recommended on the packaging. There is nothing like this amazing product on the market, and my hope is that people will use it to detox their dogs and cats, even if there was not a known mold exposure. Dogs are exposed to so many chemicals and toxins daily from pesticides, shots, food, water and more. Detoxing is a process, and pulling toxins out of your body can be overwhelming at times, so keep a watchful eye on your puppy or cat to see how he or she is feeling. If they seem to be feeling worse, let them have a break so that their bodies can catch up and have a break, then resume the treatment.
Unfortunately, most vets are not well versed in detox, so most do not know how important it is after a: pesticide, mold or chemical exposure. Had I known about this process when my dog Teddy (who had GME, an autoimmune) was alive, I believe strongly that I could have extended his life significantly. Although that is no longer possible, I share this info in hopes that you will do this easy and cost effective step to help your pets. It has improved the skin itching, lethargy and inflammation of my babies, and I still have a ways to go.
Please let me know in the comments below if your pet has had a chemical or mold exposure. Also, please consider subscribing to my channel. Your support is much appreciated!

Thank you so much because I adopted two kittens before I knew this (three months after first cat died) and the vet said I needed to do nothing . I knew better

No way! I'm VERY curious to know what you did and if it's working! I am a few months into detoxing myself, and my house is about to get remediated, crawl space fixed, etc. Our cat is 5 yo, and for last few years has made her belly bare from licking/grooming and she attacks anyone who comes to the house, goes NUTS jumping at the front door when someone knocks! We have to put her away in a closed bedroom any time we have visitors!

@@MeganGraham Can you tell me who your vet is that helped you? I can't find any vets in my area or remotely that I feel confident in. I checked the holistic vet site and the ones they refer are too far away and don't work remotely. I have 4 cats and I'm reading so many different things that I don't know what's correct. One mold expert said they need to be bathed in ammonia another said it's toxic to cats and not to do it. I don't know what to do or who to trust.

We just discovered a lead in the garage above the master bedroom AND a leak in the kitchen sink hose that are both making mold. Trying to fix those issues and I've felt like I've had bronchitis for a year, same with my dog (about the same time we moved in)... where do I begin?!

I'm terrified. I have a 15 yr old Shih Tzu. My first dog and my baby. I feel so guilty because I can't do anything to help him. I can see the mold in his poop and it's very dry. He's my life,my joy and my everything. I moved from an apt that had black mold only to move into another apt that has black mold. I have 3 autoimmune diseases myself and I'm suffering so I can't even imagine how he feels. The landlord has gotten an air quality test and I have a dehumidifier in my room. He still plays a bit but I can't even bear the thought I may loose him because of a choice I made. His surgeon said he can tell he is very well taken care of and his organs were in great shape and he could see Lewy living past 20 easy. But I just want him to make 16. They say God doesn't give you the dog you want,he gives you the dog you need. I wanted a female but my cousin told me the runt of the little was the cutest and pure white so he brought Lewy home to me. And he has been the best decision I've ever made. He also shares the same birthday as me. So, to have something happen to him because I chose to take him from the home he had for 13 years. I had no idea how to train a dog so I talked to him like he was a human being and he's great. My 30 year old son was jealous and said I loved my dog my than I loved my kids. Lol I said no I love you all the same, the only difference is Lewy is always here to lick my tears and make me smile. He knows when I'm not well because he'll not ask to play, he'll just sit beside me and love me, he ALWAYS there for me. So, I need to return the 15 1/2 years of taking care of me and make sure he's ok. I'm disabled and have many health problems and being tested for 2 different types of Cancer, but he comes first. Always has, always will. I am on a very low fixed income so please tell me this is something I can afford because I can't work even part time anymore but I will do what I have to ,to get him well. I've already spent 50.000 on taking care of him so please tell me this is something not too expensive. Btw, I'm in Canada so I'm praying I can get that stuff sent here. 😢

Can you see visible mold? If so, is there a city inspector that makes sure that apartments are safe and habitable? Air tests are not the only way to accurately test for mold. Swab tests are also very important. You could definitely use the detoxification products I list in the description of the video, but it is imperative to get out of mold to regain our health, or remediate the mold.

I’m so sorry that this happened. I would definitely give him the detox that I have in the description of this video. I don’t think it’s going to be an overnight thing, but as someone that has also suffered from mold toxicity… Just get it out as soon as you can. I don’t really think some vets know how to deal with mold toxicity. Alfie definitely ate something moldy and was in the hospital and I was able to make him better by treating him, but the hospital didn’t really have great luck with making it better.

I live in Florida & went thru Hurricane Ian which damaged my home getting a lot of black mold. 2 of which tested toxic. I getting out of the shelter and going home I and my little 12 lb Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound stayed there for over 2 weeks getting sicker every day. Then we went & stayed eksewhere. In that time he started licking the air and gagging alot. I took him to the vet who just said it's an allergy. I recently had a Mold Environmental Specialist come out to do testing and am in process of having it remediated and air scrubbed. I need something like this as he still licks the air much less but I'm still worried. It seems Drs and Vets don't know much about mold! Could you please give me the names of those 2 products? Ty

My dog is now having neurological issues from mold. My vet recommended dinovite and the next day the neurological issues started and at first I thought that was the problem, but turns out it was flaring up mold toxins. That being said, I want to get this for my 3.5 lb chihuahua, but I am so nervous for him to have an adverse reaction. I see 10-25lb dose is 1/8 tsp! Not sure how to dose for my tiny guy?

  • @MeganGraham

Hi Ashly, I think you might find the book Toxic (by Neil Nathan) helpful to read. It has been my personal experience (as a really sensitive person that was very sick) that less is more in the beginning. When I started one mold binder that I am still taking, I used to just dip my clean fingers into the tub, let the granules that were extra fall back in and then just take the 20 30 grains of binder residue that were left on my fingers. Literally just a touch. I too this amount for a week or two, and then verrrrry slowly increased. I can now take 1/2 tsp of this binder with no adverse reaction, but if I had taken 1/2 a tsp at first I would have had symptoms. I would def not do 1/8 of a tsp for your little guy. Maybe just dip the 1/8th of a tsp in for now and shake off the product and just use the residue (it will be there) and If you want to go even slower, start with every other day, and then increase to every day. Let me know if this was helpful:). ps- my dogs had neurological issues too, they are much better.

He has mold and I knew his energy was low and that he has scabs all over from itching a lot, but the vet always said that he is healthy. But that’s what doctors said about me before I found the doctor I have now. So I am now wondering what to do. Should I contact the vet ? Or should I just order the detox things for my cat now and get started treating him?

I know exactly what you mean. I think it’s important to remember that just like traditional medical doctors, traditional veterinarians do not treat mold in animals. There are vets that are more holistic or functional that might be able to help you. I can’t actually give you medical advice for your cat, however what I will tell you is that although my vet was not able to help me treat my dogs for mold, I decided to treat them myself. I did it very slowly, with a very small dose at first, and it helped so much. I just had to take what I learned for myself and treat my dogs or they would have difficulty getting better. I’m so sorry that you are going through this. My dogs had scabs just like that. They no longer have them, their energy is so much better and neurologically they are better as well. I hope this helps!

Myself and my two cats have been living in a home that has tested positive for toxic mold, and we are all sick from the exposure. Dr. Jill Carnahan - a specialist in mold - posted an article on ISEAI’s (International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness) website top tips and advice on how to move out of a moldy home while minimizing cross-contamination of the new home. One of her pieces of advice is that pets should be “washed with an anti-fungal shampoo and shaved,” as their hair can harbor mold spores and mycotoxins. I’m curious of your thoughts and experience with this, and any product recommendations you might have (that are as minimally toxic as possible) …
