You as the dealers and shooting ground owners need to do more to keep these prices down. If shooting is dying then it's in a large part down to the costs involved.

The only reason they allow us to shot at all is because it’s a cash cow that brings in huge amounts of capital. Once it stops doing that, they will find a way to cut it off. Even here in the USA where it would be illegal for them to do so. As with everything, the only real voting you do is with your dollar and follow the money. It’s sad but it’s the reality.

@@quikie1984 Dorset, they had paired up with Devon & Cornwall but are now separating to be their own department again. I made my application September 2021 after trying clays for the first time.

And who has money to shoot game to begin with? Even clay shooting has become extremely costly,let alone game shooting. A box of shells cost a arm and a leg nowadays.
