Jimny AT will satisfy your use case perfectly.. it’s small footprint makes it very practical for city traffic and also a very capable off roader.

Evaluating the same... In cities the turning radius can be long. But otherwise yes it is a very strong contender

@@TheSafariTraveller Not really...I had the same issue in mind but eventually now driving the same, I find Jimny very nimble and very easy to operate in city. Although radius is high but because dimensions are narrow, it feels fairly easy to maneuver.
The comparison is not fair. There is good 20 to 30 percent difference in the on road price. If I have to sum up, Jimny is more practical for regular usage whereas Thar is an emotion and create road presence.

Bro don't buy Mahindra. Before my tata safari, I had Mahindra tuv300. The service of Mahindra OS worst then tata.. even quality is bad. I have major issues with my tata safari now but I had same with Mahindra.

value for money , practical/daily usage/ 15 year life petrol Plz go for gemny ,,, Thar is good not practical for daily use , ONLY FOR SHOW OFF ,, agar society me sirf show of krna hi go for Thar petrol thar will be very expensive ,, average kam hi petrol me & petrol 100 + , Mahindra Group "s after sales service is very disappointing , public ki majburi hi Mahindra k sath jana bec of diesel engines ,, maruti k parts easily available hi , jyada costly bhi nhi hi ... Good Luck

Average i heard is less for Thar, Jimny power is less. There is tradeoff either way.
Great videos with very good clarity and I follow your vlogs since I also drive Safari …….one request - can you post a video or share your experience of Hankook tyres that you have fitted on Safari as an all terrain tyre vs stock tyres. Would be helpful since only hankook tyres are availble under AT upgrade option. This may be useful for xuv700 users too as they also struggle when trying for AT upgrade and their vehicle comes with same stock tyre 18 inch as Safari. Thank you in advance

Jimny is a good bet considering price service and reliability. Thar is just rutba but otherwise poor service and not comfortable
I will say buy Only Mahindra Thar petrol 4x4 because petrol car can do 15 years warranty also. If we talk about Mahindra Thar 4x4 Automatic, Manual transmission both has same speed in manual transmission, and Automatic transmission 6 speed both has but don't buy Maruti Suzuki jimmy because if we talk about Automatic transmission so don't buy because it 4 speed automatic, 5 speed manual transmission, thar has 2.0 mstallion turbo petrol engine is perfect for you. Don't buy Maruti Suzuki jimmy petrol because it 1.5 petrol engine. But thar doesn't have reverse parking camera. Jimmy has reverse parking camera.
Does jimny has safety . . Because i didnt use any maruthi product .. so i am asking question

Sir , you already own a product from a problematic company called TATA...why would you want to jump to an even more unreliable company called Mahindra...? Jimny any day for your specific use case.. you definitely deserve some peace of mind after all the horrific experience you have faced from tata asc...

Thar 5 door coming soon. Anyway THAR anyday. Don't listen to people complaining Mahindra. I have Scorpio N and Xuv700 top model. Both are fantastic. Service is top notch.
