It’s so weird how jimny is being hated in India just cuz it’s a maruti suzuki car but it’s so loved everywhere else
One bad thing: not avail in the US. Such a mistake.

The only thing I can fault on this car after owning one for 6 months is the 4 speed automatic…. It’s probably the biggest flaw, second is the tiny fuel tank but that can be easily upgraded. Apart from that, great little 4X4
I ride a motorcycle without a helmet and sometimes tipsy on Thursdays, this Jimmy 10x safer
I was doing holiday in central america. There, they love this car too and call it EL PLAYERO! I love it
I absolutely adore the Jimny but for the money I can also get a ford ranger full spec. Sigh choices.

I can get a full specs toyota hilux or ford ranger and still have some changes for a year worth of fuel. This thing is just overpriced.
legend is expensive
We have the 5 door version in India, very light and nimble but the 1.5 L engine lets a lot to be desired. Wish it came with a diesel as well.

I'm so glad with my Jimny, it is a real off roader, that's very important for me. Jimny only needs a bigger fuel tank.

What about its mileage? Is it decent or impressive
I had one years ago still on the road I checked on line. Would've another one. I've been out in deep snow and its great. Galvanised panels proper chassis.

In my city, it costs the same as a jetta
The cool factor is well and truely gone now. Theyre more common than a VT commy.

Funnily enough, that's my first car. I thought it was fun to drive around until I bought myself a Honda Civic EJ9 from 96. Still have the jimny though and drive it around occasionally.

@@hiltonavis3795 Thing is, I take it off roads because I have a private property in the woods nearby. It's unbeaten when it comes to off-road driving but in the city, Autobahn or roads in general? Meh, not that great tbh.

Not the whole of India, we northeast Indians love it. Only reason it’s selling in small numbers is because there’s also two other 4wd proven and tested options at same price or less with better offerings. I personally will pick the Jimny any day if I am in the market for a new 4wd. I sure know there’s never going to be one, but only chances of Jimny hitting sales in India will only be when suzuki launches a diesel variant. 90% People in mainland India buying Jimny won’t even take it out of the city once a year, hence a more expensive small body car with a low gas mileage makes no sense to em. Here in the northeast our roads are terrible so it’s a default choice, it’s a gem.
There should be proper pros and cons and not just "it's cool" or "it has bad vibe"

other bad things: small fuel tank, poor fuel economy for it's size, extremely low GVM

Suzuki is kinda weird like that. Small cars but fuel economy is just bad for some reason (in Jimny's case, aerodynamics played a big part), add to that tiny fuel tank - Jimny isn't the only Suzuki car suffering from that habit.
