    Really miss seeing him play man. Loved how he controlled the pace in the half court and pushing the action on the break, always making the right play. Plus the lockdown defense. Then whenever we got the occasional 3PT explosions we’d see why he was the #2 pick. Really fun player man 💔

    He shouldn't have been the 2nd pick he should've been like 4th or 5th .. Lavar ball sold him so well Magic really thought he was that great. Magic sucks at scouting and running a team, we shouldn't have trusted him he fucked our team up then resigned midway because he was getting critiqued

    @ChrisbeFoSerious no He was only the #2 pick cause Lakers gm was magic and he was compared to magic. DeArrom Fox was always better and beat him in NCAA. It's not hindsight I was mad then when we traded D Lo. He is a better passer than Lonzo to me Lonzo is just more willing cause he can't score. D Lo only got traded for outing Nick Young and I didn't care cause Nick Young was 27 sleeping with a 17yr old and nobody said nothing. From day one I knew Deaaron Fox was better than him everytime they played eachother Deaaron Fox worked him

    @@DavidDouglas-pc5eu DLo is a good playmaker, but in no world is he a better Passer (or defender) than Lonzo Ball lol. You just made your whole opinion irrelevant. It doesn’t matter if Fox had a good game against Lonzo, UCLA was dominating the NCAA that year. Fox was given 5+ years to develop at his own pace and it paid off. Lonzo wasn’t given that opportunity in LA, on top of the injuries. If knowing what we know now, Fox still isn’t the 2nd pick lol. 1. Tatum 2. Mitchell 3. Adebayo 4. Fox 5. Markkanen

  • @DavidDouglas-pc5eu

    @DavidDouglas-pc5eu

    10 ай бұрын

    @ChrisbeFoSerious dearon fox is better than Bam first off He just came off 3 seasons of 25 pts and 7 ast stop the disrespect. Secondly Lonzo has never avg more than 7 assist and he gives the ball up as soon as he crosses half court he doesn't even playmake in the half court. Lonzo was given 2 years to shake off his dad's big mouth then a fresh start in New Orleans and we praised him for avg 14 and 7. D Lo went through turmoil and got a fresh start and out up 21 and 7. D Lo avgs the same amount of assist and scores more and makes more flashy passes. Ucla dominated the regular season then got the tournament and flamed out due to Deaaron Fox spanking lonzo dropping 39 points. They only made it to the sweet 16. You just made your case for Lonzo worst he should've went like 6th in the draft

    How I feel about Lonzo is weird. I hated his hype in high school and college I'm not gonna lie, but then when I saw how his game could work in the NBA I became a huge fan, people just got the comparison wrong, he was never gonna be Steph with a 40 in, his true comparison should've been a 6'6 Rondo with a 40inch vert. I honestly hope his career can bounce back. The dude himself despite the narrative and how his father acted when he was a teenager, is actually humble asf and you can tell he not only loves playing basketball, but WINNING basketball games. Id take him on my squad any day of the week. He can literally fit into ANY roster and automatically contribute at a starter level..... obviously when healthy, of course.

    Lonzo Ball (and LaMelo too, notice he's already had a plethora of serious injuries too) is the testament to one thing: AAU is terrible for very young potential players. It puts so much age and wear on their bodies, way more than just doing the HS/College route that most players in the past have done. That results in a 25 year old Lonzo Ball having the equivalent of the health of a player in their 30s. I wish for the best, but Lavar is partially responsible for ruining his kids by overworking them with AAU.

    the ZO2’s weren’t ready but it really is not his dads fault, not like he was the manufacturer and it was their manager that advised them to make the shoes not his dad’s initial idea. it’s a big combination of many things. AAU causing his knees to become very used at a young age. The initial thigh contusion he had in 2018 which started off his leg injuries and lack of strength training on his legs when younger as people do a lot more resistance training than weight training like they did back in the 80s and 90s.

    We all know he’d be a good player if he didn’t have injuries. Top 5 defenses in his position, developed a consistent jumper, and definitely top 10 in athleticism at his position as well. If he could’ve avoided playing so many games in AAU, and alternative leagues he could’ve been healthy enough to play atleast 5 solid years avg 55-65 games a season. Sad honestly because he had so much potential with his defense and court vision.

    He was in LA.. the media is ruthless. Especially when you're a top pick n betting compared to legends. I think he let them get to his head.

    #GuruBasketballKieroSays Lonzo career so far is underrated a tad. He affects WINNING. Y'all see how he came to the Bulls and he there were a top seed in the East.... He got injured and now they a play-in team. Really unfortunate how injuries have altered his career

    Pure conjecture here. But I felt that his confidence was shattered with a combination of a few things. 1. In his rookie year, he wasn't afforded the opportunity to make mistakes. Fans, media, and players all criticized him and tried to dissect his game to look for flaws. I know it comes with the territory, but it wears down on people. You can blame lack of mental fortitude and all but the pressure is real 2. James coming to LA and looking for a running mate. Had James took Lonzo under his wing and groomed him, they would've had more chances to win in my opinion. James opting to look elsewhere for a running mate made other Lakers felt inadequate. 3. Injuries. 4. Politics. When he got traded to Chicago, Zion was really opposed to the idea of moving Lonzo to Chicago.

    Interesting topic to cover and insights, but it started to feel like I'm watching way prolonged video and hear tons of repetitive things just wrapped in slightly different words. And it felt like same meaning could've been said in like 5 min, but since it was repeated for 3 or so, took around 15 min. Either way keep cooking other great videos

    There's no mystery here, bro. His knee is shot. And it's his left knee which is his jumping leg (he's mostly a one-legged jumper). He started having issues with it after his rookie year and now he has arthritis in it. The surgery he had this year is one that no NBA star has ever come back from. So that's sad.

    Luke Walton's coaching also did him no favors. The problem with his jump shot was the slow release - in the NBA defenders contest those jumpers faster and it exposed that weakness.
