He was way less than professional, in fact gross, when he was in the UK to cover the QE 2 funeral, trying to make jokes about names of places and more. The other CCN presenters tried to tone him down / control him but he ignored them.

CNN did a disservice to viewers when they fired him. He may have had his own opinions as we all do but his reporting was accurate. I loved his style and occasional humor. I miss him. I no longer watch CNN but enjoy watching Chris Cuomo on News Nation where he’s doing a great job!

They fired Don Lemon because he got into a blatant race hustling conversation trying to discredit Vivek Ramaswamy and proved himself to be a blatantly partisan lying race baiter on live television. Go back and watch the interview. That's why he got fired. Nikki Haley's age? Where the hell is that BS coming from?

I'm glad he's not on there anymore.

I met Don years ago when he was on local TV in Philly. He was covering a story of parents coming from China with their newly adopted daughters on Thanksgiving night. My friends were one of the parents coming home. He talked with us while we were waiting for the plane. That was when you could actually wait at the gate.

I like Don Lemon. I believe he was on a plane I took a couple of days ago from Louisiana to Georgia. He had a mask on, but I am pretty sure it was Don, but he closed his eyes to rest when I passed him. I did not want to bother him. I feel badly about his firing.

Amen he was the worst journalist and the 2nd biggest biggot on CNN. He mostly ignored white people and always spinned a story to make it look like it was about racism. He was a vile reporter and also received a worst reporter award after suggesting MH370 might have disappeared trough a black hole. It took CNN wayyyyyy to long to get rid of him.

It's possible to be Democrat and be objective and fair minded from a neutral stance to try to understand the other persons viewpoint for the sake of civil dialog to resolve any type of disagreement and replenish social harmony.

SO, really I am not surprised. I knew it was not going to work with him and Katlin. He should have recognized she was on a fast track and CNN loves her. Poppy, just always looked liked she was just glad to be there. Those are our views and most American's views. Anything else? Past racial transgressions do not override free speech. Don Lemon has stated many times on his show that only blacks have the right to talk about black issues. So why does Mr. Lemon believe he has the right to speak on white issues? Can't have it both ways unless your intention is to divide. It's really that simple.

Sure, they fired him, but he got to take his ego with him.

I was saddened and outraged by the news of Lemon’s firing from CNN. He was one of my favorite anchors and I admired his courage and honesty in covering the issues that matter. He had a unique and valuable perspective as a Black gay man in America, and he was not afraid to challenge the status quo and speak truth to power. He also had a great sense of humor and a warm personality that made him relatable and engaging. I always looked forward to watching his show and hearing his opinions on various topics. I think he made a mistake with his comments about Haley, but I don’t think it warranted such a harsh punishment. He apologized for his remarks and agreed to undergo training to address the incident. He also faced accusations of misogyny from some of his colleagues, but he denied them and there was no evidence to support them. I think he was unfairly targeted and scapegoated by the network, especially after his heated interview with Ramaswamy, a controversial Republican candidate who made some outrageous claims about the history of Black Americans. Lemon defended himself and his community with passion and dignity, but he also faced backlash from some viewers and executives who did not like his tone or style. I think he deserved more respect and transparency from the network, especially after working there for 17 years. He said he was stunned by the decision and that he was not given any indication that he would be fired. He also said he was not offered an opportunity to meet with management, contrary to what CNN claimed. I think this was a disrespectful and unprofessional way to treat someone who had dedicated so much of his time and talent to the network. I hope he finds another platform where he can continue to share his voice and perspective with the public. I will miss him on CNN, but I will follow him wherever he goes. He is an inspiration and a role model for me and many others who appreciate his work and his character.

He behaved obnoxiously especially with his female colleagues. And it went from bad to horrible as he started to brutally verbally assault and falsely accuse his guests on his show. From 2016 onwards he behaved like a madman on his show, insanely frustrated because Trump was elected and by the end of his run he turned his mad fury on colleagues, Co hosts and guests. No wonder he was dropped like a hot potato.
