I have always wanted financial provisions from my husband. But as I grow in God I realise that is only one aspect of the whole provisions of a relationship...I desire spiritual covering (a man who leads me to walk with Jesus more; prays for me; lovingly call me out when I am slipping into sinful behaviour instead of shunning/avoiding me), physical protection; leading in Godly decision-making for us as a couple and for our household; provides a safe space where I can trust him and totally be myself with him.

Another great episode this is key for our generation today I'm glad I'm learning all of these things being single. So I can become the husband who God wants me to become.

This is great. Straightforward, down to earth, and genuine. I believe also that there is more than just being monetary providers, and it is the most important and honorable responsibilities we have as men. I like how you mention how regardless of the way we grew up, we can still break the cycle and be better men, regardless of whatever our fathers or families put us through, or neglected. Please keep going in this ministry, and share the truth in grace and truth.

Spiritual guidance, intelligence, love protection, discernment, encouragement, support; praying with her, for her and interceding on her behalf; godly leadership and friendship; food, shelter, clothing, as needed and/or required...being a good lover, listener, father to your children, attentive...Very insightful...Well said 😇🥰❤

Men are called to provide but I don't know why many people think it is only in a financial way. He can be a provider spiritually, emotionally, safety, discipline, structure and etc. This highvalue man vs low value man has subcontiously been taught to us by parents and grandparents. Where we basically have to find a "highvalue" = rich man vs a "lowvalue" = poor man(basics to survive and be content with life) to provide for us. I think it's really sad because we were trained to look down on people because of what they don't have to offer, versus their character. Also this mindset where a man feels like he can control a wife because of him being the financial provider. And that it's only his wife's role is to be in the kitchen, taking care of the home and raising the kids. My thoughts are that he is as much their father as she is their mother so yes he also need to take care of his children, kitchen & the house. It is not just a womans job it is both. When men live alone they have to do all of this by themselves so why do some men find it a problem to continue when entering into marriage? It's about both people working together in all things not separate. His/Her MAIN ROLE might be to focus on those MORE .eg : Him- financially Her- house, kitchen & children. But it is still both eachothers responsibilty!! Anywayssss those are some of my thoughts😂😅

May God bless your wife, you and all your loved ones greatly as you minister to many. I mentor young people, and your channel is very useful. It is very encouraging to see young men being men of God and teaching others. Blessings from Europe!

The reason why finances is such a hot topic is because it is one of the biggest problems now when it comes to provision..and it’s a REAL problem unfortunately. Women are behind the work force, bringing in money and making it happen even sometimes with children and some men are stuck below the average salary and want to get married with kids and it’s not realistic

What about when a husband's deceitful? (Not just my opinion, he's admitted such).
