Rod... cover any fish's eyes and it will NOT flop or try to move because it cannot see where it's going or what's going on around it... So if you'll just grab the fish around the the head with one hand, covering it's eyes with the thumb & index finger and the other the other hand you use it to grab the fish around it's body at the caudal peduncle (* on the rear of the body, just above where it's tail fin starts...)

I'd keep the white Barra 👍 I catch barramundi all the time and I've only ever heard of one caught years ago. Beautiful fish!
