Breaking a 32 year playoff win drought is a different feeling we probably won't feel again until the Lions finally win a Superbowl. I've already accepted that. No season will feel as good as this one until they win it all.

@@MichaelB4708 Having multiple starters playing on rookie contracts is the key. Bringing back CJ and Josh Reynolds are moves I’d like to see them make this offseason. Both will be fairly cheap too, maybe $3mil a year. They’re gonna have to throw the bank at the 2021 draft picks next offseason though. Especially Saint and Penei, they’re gonna be asking for some serious money. Even Alim and Iffy will cost a pretty penny if they want to keep them. Derrick Barnes too. That’s the only “downside” of drafting well…you eventually have to either pay them or lose them.

It's like playing the Ravens without Lamar Jackson. How credible is the chest-thumping when one of their best offensive players misses the game due to an injury? What makes a championship sweet is victory over the very best in the field. I don't care how long I've waited (since 1970) or how much I think Detroit is "due" a ring. Every team has its bad game, and that was it. The Lions were just out of sync. I noticed it and I was at the game. I figured that there was just an agreement between the coaches that the game was over (the Lions could've tried to just run up the score but they didn't).

I was at Ford Field It was emotional for all of us. I saw an 80 year old lady shouting and waving her white flag as hard as I was! The gates opened 3 hours before the game at noon. I walked into the stadium at 12:15 and it was already shoulder to shoulder!! I got a game day pin! And….. 🎶 MEMORIES 🎶 WE CHANTED JARED GOFF. I tried to get my section to chant “SHEILA HAMP! SHEILA HAMP!” At the end of the game when she was out there but fans were too busy hugging and fist bumping and crying. I didn’t cry…but my eyes were moisturizing 🥹🥹🥹

That moment in Detroit must have been very much like the Red Wings win at home in 1997. What an amazing night. Just like then, everyone felt like it was time. Wish I could have been there, lots of old friends were. If you ever spent time in Detroit, you know this is exactly correct. Seeing Michigan go all the way only inspired this team. Why not Detroit!? Detroit GRIT...Get Ready It's Time!

As a Michigan Football fan first and a Lions fan second... I have no idea how to explain what I currently am feeling right now. If you would have told after 2020 that in 4 years Michigan would win the National Title and the Lions would advance to the NFC title game.... I would have laughed in your face. I have never been this invested in Football this late into the season.

I feel like the rest of the country has a rough idea of how huge this is for Lions fans. but ROUGH. as a life-long Michigan resident and Lion fan, let me just say that folks have NO IDEA how big this is for us. decades of being made fun of and never winning. FINALLY we are a real franchise.

My theory is that both Bowles and Campbell forgot how many time outs Tampa had left, and Bowles didn't realize that until he was asked, and he came up with that excuse on the spot.

Appreciate Pat Macfee First Take & GMFB for actually talking about the Lions while other shows talked more about TB & Baker even though they lost. Skip REFUSED to say anything good about the Lions guess everyone making those "Detroit made it to the NFCCG before the Cowboys" jokes really got to him.
