I'd say for the Super Bowl era, even though we haven't been to one yet, he could hopefully at least surpass Wayne Fontes for the team's final record results of '91 & '93, but for all-time in Lions history, that honor continues to get to be in the person of Raymond "Buddy" Parker from the championship years of the 1950s......2 NFL championships, 3 straight NFL championship game appearances, had he not resigned before the 1957 season, he could have had the third NFL championship of the decade for the team, that ended up going to the long-time head coach eventually, George Wilson......

Crazy he was on the 0-16 Lions and has them 1 game away from going to the Super Bowl. Made respect for what he has done their in Detroit. With that said, go 49ers!!

I couldn't believe that play. He's not a particularly big guy either; that was all heart and willpower and he fought for every inch of that to get the first down. It was awesome!

I'd say this more than makes up for the botched safety attempt on Dak week 17. A safety there likely would have won us that game but completely changed our playoff trajectory.

Dan deserves to be making these calls!! He's waited so long, I can't count the amount of times he sounded flabbergasted after SOL calls and stuff. But thank God that the BRAND NEW LIONS ARE HERE!!!! Bring it on home boys!!! GO LIONS!!!

I'm a Bucs fan...as in the Pittsburgh Pirates. This is my introduction to Dan Miller. I love his enthusiasm. He reminds me of the Pirates' Greg Brown. He genuinely loves this team, and you can hear it. I was happy when we had 2013-2015 and Brownie finally had some playoff baseball to call. I can imagine the joy and appreciation you Lions fans have. Good luck from Steeler country. I hope you are the last team standing. If so, I cannot wait to hear Dan Miller on the call!! Go Lions!!

They can't do that because the radio and TV broadcast is separate and they will never do that unless both the league and the franchise agree to put up some money

There are no words for how i feel as a lions fan for 37 yrs of my life and finally witnessing this. And with dan miller calling the games....there is no one better in the business. And for everyone saying 9ers are gonna steam roll lions....i refuse to believe that this team will not go down without a fight. I can promise u that. This truly is an incredible moment in lions football history. The sport of footbal is such a gem and i am honored to be watching this happen. Thank u detroit!!!
