100% one of the best games if EVER played. The combat was soooo freaking satisfying. The little mini games... graffiti.. stealing radios... etc. it was insanely fun.

Bully was gonna be the same , search up Bully the small change that made the big difference and you'll see similarities

The fact that this game can be played coop just made my old days feel better, is just a bundle of fun

I personally was hoping to use two multi tap adapters and play with 7 of my friends regardless the game still kicked ass

I was just saying this two months ago. They remastered everything else. Just update the look. If it's not broke. Then it should be super easy to just update the look.

If you’re like me, someone who appreciates and loves “The Warriors,” you know in 2005, Rockstar created a video game based on the cult classic and gave a backstory to how the gang was formed. Myself and others believe this needs to be remade as a prequel. No one can hold a candle to the originators but I wanted to pay homage and give them their flowers. The best game I have ever played. This channel truly surprises me.. I have been wondering why there has not been a beat’em up brawl game like the warriors since it’s release. I literally emailed rockstar asking them to remake the game for PS3. Had a whole script and everything. They even emailed me back....but said they had no intentions of remaking it. 😞😞😞

I've been talking about this game for years. It is truly in my top 5 favorite Rockstar games of all time.

Thank you for making this video. The Warriors is a criminally underappreciated game. It's the pinnacle of the brawler genre in my opinion. They did the source material justice in a faithful recreation of the movie while improving and expanding the lore with a prequel built in. Not to mention one of the best Easter eggs of all time disguised as an arcade box in the warriors hideout. It's an exact recreation of Double Dragon with Warriors skins. That's how you pay tribute to a genre while simultaneously elevating it to new levels. I fucking love this game!

Dude.. Seriously.. I love these "what the hell happened to".. I used to hate the title, and didn't watch any of them, because I thought it was videos where you were bashing games, like they were failures... but in reality it's just very well produced and researched videos on the games... It's brilliant, thanks for making these!

Microsoft has had a hard time trying to emulate the original Xbox version to newer Xbox systems. I have the game for PS4 though.

They don't start fighting each other. They all go after you. They are also op and can kill you with a few punches.

I love the movie and would love a remaster of this game. One of my favorite films. I played and beat the PSP version and thought it was great, I can only imagine the Xbox version being remastered now.

I most definitely welcome a complete remake of the Warriors. It would be a great addition to my game library. 🤟😉👍

It still holds up fairly well, the combat feels really fierce. Loved this game so much

Started a story mode with my kid. We've been laughing the whole time on all the kfced up things we do.

Wow the timing. I've been playing through it again myself on the ps4 recently. Love each unique members finishers and rage moves. Plus the whole group command system (wreck em all for calling the cops, mayhem for looting etc) makes it feel more like running with a crew. I dig it quite a lot.

The warriors game was amazing as a kid and still is now I love it

More like what the hell happened to Bully 2. Rumors of a sequel years ago and then it faded into obscurity.

Things I want from Rockstar….. 1. A Warriors sequel or remaster 2. Grand Theft Auto 6 3. A Bully sequel 4. Manhunt 3!

I bought it a couple of weeks, and i really like it and had never played it before, i reccomend it💯, unfortunally im kinda stuck at level 7 on The chin ups 😅

Ok like the movie, a sequel is just a bad idea unless done properly but in this climate of video games I doubt it. Now a remake/remaster 👌

Been playing this game for 14-16 years and I’m happy to see it finally get some love

Truly an exceptional game. When i read The Warriors jailbreak comic, i truly hoped that a sequel to the game would be done, the story is all there and leaves so much space for a game to expand on each of the characters stories. Recruiting everyone again, gather the bands and convince them, stack up on weapons, decision making, customize groups, train and hone up new skills. It would be one hell of a game.

Loved playing this game as a kid! One of the top games ever made by Rockstar imo! 🔥I love how some of the actors came back to play their characters, especially Fox. I'm glad Thomas G Waites name made it to the game's end credits rather than movie where he got fired on set. We definitely need a remaster for this game!

Nobody ever brings up Rumble Mode where you can play as any of the gangs in the game.

I loved the side missions where other gangs would come through coney and you had to defend it with all the warriors backing you, also the 1v1 rooftop battles were elite! One of my favourites growing up as a kid no doubt.

As far as I know there was a quasi-sequel in the making right after The Warriors was released. But not a sequel of that specific movie but a similar game without a movie license: "We Are The Mods". Well, it was kinda based on the movie "Quadrophenia". This time about the battle between Mods and Rockers in '60 england: www.unseen64.net/2018/05/05/we-are-mods-warriors-2-cancelled/ Here a direct quote from one Rockstar employee from above site: _Matt Kazan wrote on his own portfolio site: “The project had begun as a PlayStation 2 spiritual follow-up to the earlier hit ‘The Warriors’, but part way through the development cycle Rockstar New York asked us to switch Mods from a Sixth Generation to a Seventh Generation development, changing from the PlayStation 2 to the Xbox 360 as the primary development platform. Much of the content here reflects that change, with Mods being the first Seventh Generation project the team had worked on. It was a learning experience for everyone involved. Thos os one of my favorite RockStar game. Not only did most of the original cast voice themselves but you also play through the moved as the final levels in the game.

Funny thing that about the Warriors game: Originally Rockstar had decided on a spinoff that wasn't related to this or the film and was called We Are The Mods. It was supposed to take place in England prior to the 1970s and have the same combat systems that the Warriors but was prematurely shelved almost like this game was going the Hulk Ultimate Destruction phase of having a spinoff game but with gameplay and controls the same.

Most ambitious really I think manhunt takes that one but great video none less btw warriors movie n game where both amazing

This game would have so much potential on this current generation of consoles. Imagine even a map the size of GTA IV or San Andreas. I remember that level where you had to run from the Furies and me and my buddy used to just stop and fight them for so long lmao. Or remember you could set up a rooftop rumble? Imagine concepts like that again!

The fighting on the warriors was brilliant don't know why they don't remaster it and add some online free roam and 10vs10 brawls or something

I loved this game so much. I remember unlocking cuffs and went to the free roam area in Coney and just harassing people till they called police. I then handcuffed them in one area till the point where there was like 30+ police all on the ground.

was the only 18 + game i was allowed to buy because my mum loved the movie, i never heard of it but i can mind my mum seeing it in an old ps2 magazine and being surprised a cult movie from the 70s was getting an early 2000s game
