That’s really neat, 1600s wow! May 7th. Today is the anniversary of what would have been Mama’s 96th birthday. I visited her grave in Stuart. It’s 52 mi one way, so I stopped by the hospital to visit her youngest brother, 88, the last of eight children. He turned a riding lawn mower over and fractured his hip, but thankfully won’t have to have surgery. He’s going to a rehab facility next week to see if they can get him walking again. Hope you are doing well. 🌺💚

Thank you for taking us back to Wales! I would adore to go there. Hoping my youngest son can go there some day since he has a friend there that he has known for ages. I loved the shopping center. They had my favorite things...postcards and fridge magnets! I will buy two of any nifty postcards I find. One to mail and one to keep. Glad you picked up a magnet. Our friend and his family live in Pembrockshire. Probably spelled that incorrectly. Continues to amaze me how dog-friendly the UK is. In America you can only take guide dogs and service dogs into stores. You have to be able to answer two questions about service dogs. 1. Is this a service dog and 2. What tasks are they used for. They can't ask more than that and they cannot require paperwork. I feel bad for service dog owners because many of them fall for spammers that tell them they can sell certificates for service dogs. That place name is of course famous. So much so an episode of The Goodies in the 70s made fun of it by showing them get on a train at one end of the sign, having the sign roll slowly by, until the train stopped at the other end and they got off 🙂

Lots of whitecaps on the water! My dad taught photography in a high school in Minnesota, and we rarely have pictures of him. My favorite was one where he was setting up the camera for a timed shot, and someone took his picture. How lovely to have Sherpa on the very green grass is the foreground, and the very blue water is the background!

I was sooo going to ask if you were going there! We used to call it LlanfairPG for short. I hope you got to Penmon point with the lighthouse. Wales is stunning. I remember visiting the pier too @ 2.31! That's the mainland one right? Hasn't changed much from when I last visited over a decade ago! Wales is pretty decent with rules for dogs in certain places. Poo with a view- you used that line before in 2019, I wrote a poem I the form of a Haiku about it! Too many intense emotions and memories! I think I emailed you with some places to see, and somewhere i found in an online video. Will try again soon. I love you ...OK, I was going to say on a platonic basis, it included u and Sarah. Now that I have heard you @ 10.41, BUTCHERING The name, I am afraid that I will have to remove you from that love. Such a poor effort! And I am not even Welsh! It sells Welsh tartan and wool products,aka CLOTHES! AND YARN ETC. I still have friends living there, so it was always have strong memories for me. Hi Jamie & Sherpa, the mini stone henge is not as old as you think it is, Wales has a festival called the 'urdd' pronounce it irth, mostly singing and poems, it used to move around wales north then south then north again and so on so all the towns where the festival has been have that henge porthmadog and pwllheli have it as well.

I have a Welch Bible that my great grandmother brought over from Wales. Both her and my great grandfather were originally from Wales and settled in Upstate NY where many other Welch migrants settled. My great grandmother never wanted to come, hated here and refused to learn English! (she wasn't the most pleasant person). Lol. But the Bible is crazy with the language!! Lol

Wales, Scotland, Liverpool, Lands End , the Christmas Markets, the daily walks on the moors that I thought I would only read and dream about as I read Brontë novels. To see all these places through the eyes of the best dog ever in the world with that special Jamie charm coloring the view… I am almost ashamed to admit how much I look forward to seeing you guys or how excited I get when I notice a new video post. The visits to Key and the biscuit lady make me laugh so hard on days when I really need a laugh. Visits with Sarah and Granny and Nook make me feel like I am part of some distant family, a global pack being herded by Huskies. You all are so special and I really send you so much gratitude, I know a lot of work and planning goes into these videos and I thank you for including the world on your wanders. However, I have a request that I pray you will consider. If I could go anywhere in Cornwall, besides Land’s End, I would absolutely love to see The Lost Gardens of Helegan. It seems a magical place that if I could go I might not ever want to leave Cornwall. I looked it up, it’s dog friendly. In fact, a dog helped to discover some of it. Sherpa would look so handsome with the Sleeping Mud lady. The place seems huge and really different. Maybe enough to base a whole other book on. They say they have a great coffee shop there☕️. Please Sherpa’s dad, please, please can we go? I think lots of other viewers would love it too. If it’s not your thing, I get it.
