@@scottwhibley8392 And he worked for that like all the skilled drivers. I may not be a Leclerc fan cuz his fan base is way too toxic but the man himself has been through a lot at a young age when it comes to people close to him and you can’t deny that.

I think Ferrari is the problem. Look at some of their drivers in the last decade. Many of them left the team basically broken and empty. I'm not a fan of Vettel but man seeing him drive for Ferrari the two years before he left them was depressing. And I'm basically seeing the same thing with Leclerc now.

Just because Ferrari has history doesn't excuse them being run by a bunch of lobotomised apes that not only cannot produce a decently reliable car, but think up pit strategies that only a mentally impaired 3-year old would and refuse to take the blame for it. Either Leclerc grows some balls and stands up for himself like Schumacher did, or they will continue to fail.

It's not happening anything with him. When the car is not where it should be and the team doesn't help him at all(bad strategies, heaps of reliability issues, poor communication during the race by his race engineer), he has to give 101% and drive over the limit to compensate. When someone gives 101%, mistakes always appear

This. Charles is trying to compensate for a "slow" car and "bad" team. This leads him to overdrive the car and sometimes binning it. When Ferrari gives him a good car and good strategy he drives near perfect races, like Bahrain, Australia, and Austria last year.

Ugh, I dislike when people are trying to put all the blame on Ferrari. Yes they are not ideal, but Leclelrc himself has also been not great at all. When we look at actual champions like Lewis or Max - in their winning seasons they always near-ideal, maximum making one bad race during whole season. Even when we take Ferrari's best form - start of 2022 - Leclerc still was losing races due to his own deeds - like in Saudi Arabia or France. And these were races where Ferrari were either on the same pace or faster than RedBull. Leclerc is fast, not denying that, but he is too inconsistent. He either needs to fix that or hope that the car will be so dominant, that his inconsistencies would still allow him to become champion.

I feel it would be wrong to say that Fernando, Max and Hamilton also don't drive at 101% sometimes. Look at Max's quali in Monaco this season and tell me he was not driving over the limit. Fernando has been driving underperforming cars to places where they shouldn't be his whole career. Leclerc is an amazing driver, and Ferrari has let him down, but ultimately he still has some maturing to do.

Max did no mistakes on 2022 because the Redbull was always the faster car on sundays and he didn’t need to overpush. In 2021 Max made many mistakes and robbed Lewis the title because FIA decided to “support” redbull. That is the problem with this generation of f1 fans. They only watch the stats. They can’t understand that the car is 70% and the driver is 30%. Half of the grid would be wdcs with the car Lewis and Max were driving

His rookie season was so good. Shame it wasn't mentioned but that f2 drive at Bahrain, holy shit was stand up and notice me moment.

I really feel like Charles' huge talent is being wasted at Ferrari. As tough as it is to say about an outfit like Ferrari they've really been under delivering for a team of this stature. I really hope to see them come back and fighting for wins and championships as I think having Ferrari perform well is a good thing for the sport but it's going to be a tremendous effort to work out all of the kinks in both how the team is being managed and in the car

Leclerc is the chosen one. This is simply the part of the story where all seems hopeless, which will then be followed by his transcendence/awakening. Like Goku, being beaten and feeling like there is no hope, only to then unlock a new power.

What’s happening to Charles Leclerc is that his team can’t make a good car, and his strategist screw him over every single race. Charles has always been quick to admit fault; his racing abilities haven’t changed. Fire Xavi and see how much changes.

I honestly think Ferrari is the problem. He was very confident and now I don't see him like that anymore, plus Carlos is not a good teammate, so that makes things even worse. He looks soft, insecure, 'too nice' instead of being more aggressive like Max is for example. We all have setbacks, but we also have comebacks. Charles is the only reason I still pay attention to Ferrari, but I have to say that I don't have a favorite team per se anymore. I support Max, Lando and Charles, and I hope he gets his comeback, he deserves it.

The problem is who he drives for. Teams like Red Bull and Mercedes incorporate their drivers' needs into the design of the chassis. Ferrari will probably never be humble enough to do that again.

Charles has all the talent to be a champion, but Ferraris failing him, and I feel terrible for him. Hopefully Ferrari builds a competitive car in 2024.

He is definitely one of the best on the grid, and has the merit of a world champion, but the car and strategy are definitely holding him back. Strategy is obvious, but the car seems not to be very capable when driven to Charles full capacity.

The wildest part is that Sauber scored 48 points in a season.

2024 will be another red bull show. I mean they already started their focus on the car halfway through 2023. And they were still wrecking everyone at the end of the season with an un-upgraded car.

ferrari is a very particular team. It is a dream as much of a curse to any driver. If you are not able to win straight away with this team, the longer you stay there the harder it gets. We have seen this with a lot of drivers through the years. Charles is a top driver, but young as he is, i would advise him to go to aston or mercedes. Even though winning once with Ferrari would be mean so much more than win twice with any other team, he need to go. Go to a team that can nurture his talent, and not stay and steer a team like ferrari

As a Ferrari fan I no longer stand for this madness of Ferrari shithousery weekend after weekend. I genuinely think Charles can become a world champion…just not with Ferrari.

I feel for him. Hes an immensely talented driver and ferrari are not doing their job either with the car or the strategy. But id also say he lacks the ruthlessness thsts needed for one to be an F1 champ. He doesnt command the team to do his bidding. This is his 5th year and he still doesnt dictate terms to the team. Too much of a nice guy and unless everything falls in place, he'll not win. I doubt if he will ever be champ unless he gets a dominant car and strategy like RedBull or Mercedes. Anything slightly less, i dont see him taking charge and winning.

I never really liked his attitude, but I understand it now. I hope that he wins a championship. I always hoped to see him and max join a team together and fight for the championship. I’m sure he would de better then Perez!

New watcher, love the video so far, Leclerc has really been through a lot, but no 2021 was not his first winless season in F1, it was his first winless season for Ferrari, but that's a sample size of 2 at the time, and now as sample size of four since 2019, and 2023 ain't looking too good for Charles/Ferrari/Anyone not named Max in a Red Bull before the summer break

Man I can tell you've been practicing pronounciations of non-English word and names. You're getting pretty close, but not there yet. It's not "sharleh" it's "sharl". You could lose the 'eh' after some names/words. "Juuleh" -> "Juuls" etc.

He needs to leave Ferrari. His have severely under-delivered on car performance. And even if they do make a car to challenge redbull next (which they won’t bc their so far behind) we’ve seen time and time again that the strategy is extremely bad. How could they ever challenge RB or Merc on equal terms if they constantly take points off of themselves through dogshit strategy

I dont comment much i just want to say my opinions of him as a big fan. In terms of driving skills, he is on par with Verstappen, Hamilton but the biggest problem is the Ferrari team being fuk ups. Leclerc lacks the leadership skills or put it simply, doesn't whine enough to Ferrari for the team to actually change. In 2022, Spain, Monaco, Silverstone and Hungary were all races where he dominated. Towards the end of 2022, the Redbull was just clearly the faster car. Mistake from him only appeared in 2 GPs and if you check any other drivers, they all make mistake in title fights. Like Hamilton in Imola 2021, Azerbaijan 2021, Verstappen towards end of 2021. Give Leclerc a few years, and switch out the clowns in the red garage and he'll get his title. Only that im afraid such day may never come
