So, in a couple weeks, the detectives learned more about her job than she knew? I seriously hope thay this case brings forth stricter job requirements.

"ohhh, that's a headstamp?" "is that one of those primer cap things?" WHAT.

I wouldn't trust her to be a summer camp counselor.

How good an armorer could her father have been? A good reputation maybe, but actually good at his job? Any capable armorer - or any capable father - would take one look at his spacy daughter and refuse to set her up for failure or put other people in danger by steering her towards becoming an armorer herself.

“Spacey” is a good way of putting it, especially if, as her supposedly “reputable” armorer dad, you also know she has a tendency to engage, at times, in the consumption of illegal substances. Though if asked, I’m pretty sure “Daddy” would deny knowing of her substance use or would try to minimize it in some way, shape, or form.

He should have steered her towards more artistic work - costumes, for example. Everyone knows that guns kill. So when you employ someone who is responsible for guns you’d better make certain that this person is highly qualified, not highly high. Maybe skimp on quality of makeup or wardrobe but do not skimp on the person who is responsible for guns. She’s obviously unqualified.

also, if we're worried about new people never gaining experience, a higher budget movie could benefit from having a seasoned pro and trainee on set with a heightened sense of importance regarding safety rules. If you're a good trainer it's going to be extra important you don't get complacent with an intern present. I don't believe her father or her when they talk about all this training she got from him, a lot of this isn't just movie set knowledge, keeping track of different ammunition is basic gun safety. We already know a gun loaded with blanks is deadly, so leaving it laying on a prop cart would be insanity _for even a normal person off set._

I wonder if he realizes that makes the case against her dramatically worse? So she didn't make a mistake, this wasn't a slip up, she wasn't brand new and out of her element and god forbid something awful happens. But Seth Kenney supplied the ammo, and Sarah dumped ammo from the cart immediately after shooting and didn't report that to police right away. Very sus. I agree that Hannah made grave errors but the prop master, Seth, who has done other very sus things, and provided all the ammo, is also responsible for the death

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. It breeds overconfidence that persist until dispelled by experience. The woman was poorly trained and overconfident. Baldwin should have recognized her incompetence by the poor gun handling skills she displayed. But Baldwin is caught up in his own ego and knows nothing about proper gun handling. Both were negligent.

It sounds like the rules around guns and ammo on set are pretty loosey-goosey. Ridiculous.

Bullet: a metal projectile for firing from a rifle, revolver, or other small firearm, typically cylindrical and pointed, and sometimes containing an explosive. That's in the dictionary. But I know what you mean. Technically the bullet or slug is the projectile and the cartridge contains the primer and propellant along with the projectile.

Also helping her defense, is a person clearly over-compensating for an unknown reason.

This isn’t Hannah first accidental death . Before this she handed her boyfriend her keys to her motorcycle while he was intoxicated and he got into a accident and died that night . That’s the same night she brought a gun into a bar she didn’t even have a permit to carry .

What are the procedures on set that armorers must follow? For instance, locked boxes, 2- person checks, that no one is allowed to rush the armorer...etc?

I'm sure she won't take the stand and that's a real shame. 😢 She is devoid of feeling or heart for what she has done. 😠

Just imagine if she did the very lowest expectation of her job and checked the gun before handing it over that day. No matter how the bullet got there she should’ve caught it! She didn’t check the gun, it’s not known to be extremely common for the main actor to check the gun as we have heard in testimony. Though some do.

Why does she even bring her own ammo?

She stated that I can’t do this for two years, but she should be sentence for three years for her negligence

She was probably texting on her phone while doing her job.

She is unnaturally calm during the interview, as if she hasnt got a care in the World!! Also she sounds very irresponsible and disorganised, about where the rounds are kept, they are stored in a haphazard manner.

This wasnt in the day of the shooting- an interview done a fair bit after the shooting. But yeah I know what you mean.

That poor little boy who lost his Mama because of all this. If only Alec had checked the gun. His father was an expert about guns.

How could anyone hire her for any job much less one so important. She conducts herself in such a careless manner.

Sorry to say everyone on that set is responsible to some degree ., even the victims , half the crew quit the day before due to safety concerns , that should have told the remainder something was wrong , the two people shot were in the line of fire , that should never happen, the actor should always check the gun handed to him, and dont employ a dopehead to handle the guns and bullets

Like seriously how does an “armorer” not read the back of a round. First off, caliber information. Second manufacture and possibly +P or another designation on the case that would indicate live rounds. Dum dum

She was too afraid to confront and challenge set employees mishandling the weapons, if she can't who will? The set was a circus.

All this effort, expensive lawyers and prosecution for a charge that only carries a maximum sentence of 18 months - yes only 18 months in prison and will probably be out in 12 😮 I’m surprised she didn’t take a plea deal and save the costs - btw who’s paying for her lawyers?

Armorer didn’t check and clear before take, Actor didn’t check and clear before take, both heads gonna roll. That excuse of sabotage is not gonna work cause they had to check before loading. Their careers are over maybe not in Alec’s head.

An actor is there to portray a character, not know firearm safety. Otherwise they wouldn’t hire a specialist for that job.

That's correct, I don't know how many viewers of this have been on a movie set, but typically, the actors are FORBIDDEN from removing magazines, opening actions or anything like that because that is a chance for a live round to make it into the mix.

​@@andrewerickson6089 The big problem for Baldwin is that tests by both FBI experts and outside experts have shown that particular gun could only have fired the round if Baldwin pulled the trigger. The other big issue is the various safety issues that cropped up before the tragedy...with Baldwin being the supervisor everyone deferred to (even more that the director, from what it sounds)

Maybe the psychopathic Lying Alec Bald double checked it as usual and swapped a blank with a real bullet. And made it look like an acident. Then tells that when he was handed the gun it was Said to be cold which was first Lie, 2nd Lie was he never double checked it which is standard protocol when you work on a set with known real live bullets on it. The gun is real too. 3 Lie is he never pulled the trigger which everyone in the world with 80 IQ knows who did a little research.

Did she know Halyna was dead here? Because she certainly doesn't seem broken up about it
